Pure Citrus Air Freshener - Citrus Blend

Pros: I love the scent, smells like real oranges, natural ingredients, appears to be non-staining on fabrics & carpets, but the can says to avoid spraying on furniture, vinyl floors, and countertops. The problem with that is that I rent and practically everything is plastic, vinyl, or spray on fake bathtub enclosures and countertops! My own furniture is brownish black Bombay with cabinets that are mostly put together with hardware. My 1 bedroom, 1 bath senior apartment is barely 600 sq. ft. and I basically have to spray this straight up to the ceiling to avoid all furniture and built-in countertops! I ordered 6 of these because there is nothing more pleasant than this product when it come to how well it freshens up my rooms, and it lasts a long time with the tiniest squirt. It even works as an insect deterrent around my screens and doors. It truly is my favorite brand! Plus, the new cans no longer have a problem with the liquid dribbling on your fingers and It doesn't leak out at all, which is a huge plus! Cons: It's a hit or miss as to whether the spray can will work at all. Unfortunately, only 4 cans worked great. One can takes more pressure than my fingers can exert, and one can refuses to work at all because the cap is so resistant to even both thumbs pushing down at the same time. That makes each can a lot more expensive. It isn't returnable according to some kind of transportation issue, but the Seller offered to either refund me for the two cans that are inoperable or replace them. This kind of customer service makes it a 5 star Granny Gems rating! The ones that do work are well designed with a secure locking mechanism that you can open by turning the cap to the right, and to close the spray opening (Very hard to see!) by turning it to the left until it makes a very soft click sound. Summary: Because of Amazon's incredible customer service, I will continue to buy this product as needed simply because of how wonderful this orange scent makes my home feel so welcome and many people have commented on how clean and fresh it is upon entering. Don't laugh, but while I bought this to use as a natural air freshener in my bathroom (and which it does very well at--leaves the room smelling fresh and clean without leaving a heavy perfume in the air to choke the next person in the bathroom), I discovered that the citrus oil in it works to kill the ants that overrun my house in the spring. I know from when I was a kid in the West that citrus peelings (we used grapefruit rinds) heaped on top of the large ant hills we used to have out in our back woods would kill the ants in a matter of a couple days. So one day when I found a colony of the tiny grease ants working over a piece of cat food on the floor, I grabbed my can of Pure Citrus and sprayed them down. Not only did it kill them almost instantly, but none of their cousins came back to pick up the corpses, as they usually do! I've found that if I spray this around the edges of the room where the ants usually get in, I don't have the ant problems I used to. AND since my cat isn't fond of citrus smells, it's non-toxic around him, as well. (I also have the invasion of carpenter bees in the spring, drilling holes in the portico roof on my porch, and if I spray this around the holes they are starting, they move elsewhere--it doesn't kill them, I don't believe--and I'd rather not kill the bees, anyway, as they are necessary for pollination--but it discourages them from working on my porch.)

I’ve been overly sensitive to strong artificial scents my whole life. I’ve been using either the citrus blend or orange scent for years. This product, being all natural, doesn’t disturb my senses. It’s a pleasant scent that does what it’s advertised to do; cover up unpleasant odors, naturally. It’s a little expensive, but to me it’s worth it. And it lasts a long time. A short burst is all that’s needed.

Awesome product but way too expensive !! I used to be able to buy this at Canadian Tire a few years back but it just disappeared 🫤 !

Overpriced item. Receipt that came with the item showed only $11.74 for one can. Why charge $62 plus tax?
