Sacroiliac Hip SI Belt for Women and Men That Alleviates Sciatic, Pelvic, Lower Back, Leg and Sacral Nerve Pain Caused by Si Joint Dysfunction| Hip Brace Support (XL-XXL)

This is two of three I purchased to give support to my S1 joint due to arthritis. It supports extremely well for me. But what made me make it one of two that I purchased because this one had "grab tabs" to help to move/remove the velcro. Which comes in good when have to use the bathroom. Liked how it fit, stayed in place and the support. And liked how I could make it tighter/loser for the job I was doing. I do a lot of heavy gardening and at times needed to adjust how tight/lose it was. So now I am the proud owner of two hip braces because I liked them both. And as I will be using them both a lot....like everytime I go outside or housework inside, I am sure one will be washed and drying while wearing the other, which is a different brand. But the benefit I see is that they are different enough that they do a great job, but fit just a bit different. And this on also works as an excellent brace for my lower back just above the hip brace, but because they are seperated don't get the "can't bend" feeling.

I bought this on the advice of my doctor. It worked so well I was surprised. I wore it, walked around for hours, and my usually pretty bad low back pain was barely noticeable. I even sat down and laid back on the sofa forgetting I had it on. It’s the perfect width and puts plenty of pressure and support on exactly the right strip across the sacroiliac region. My first day using this & am pleased that its 3.5 inches width fits without pinching my "muffin top" parts. Soft but strong with well sewn seams so it should last. Easy to put on although the Velcro is so strong I would have appreciated longer pull tabs to help me detach the stuff. Many of us who need these things are older & have hand strength issues too. The existing tabs are only 1/2 inch long; I thought they should be longer but in fact this was never really a problem. Comes with handy storage bag (or maybe to use in wash) & tiny brochure illustrating & describing hip stabilization exercises. UPDATE: I wore mine over a long T-shirt & the belt + exercises got me over my SI joint symptoms. But if you are short, you might need a narrower belt when you sit as this belt is best worn when you're up & doing things.

Not perfect as far as eliminating pain, but the best yet ordered. Had a fractured back that is pushing on my right hip making it hard to walk any distance without extreme pain. Cannot be operated on because of osteoporosis set in. This belt helps more than any others ordered. Extremely comfortable!! Helps alot! Can be EASILY worn even underneath leggings!!

It’s a nice belt, but it is way too hot. The material that is made of makes you sweat terrible and your underwear will be wet where you have it wrapped around. I even put it on the outside of my shorts and it still made everything wet where the strap is.

Made no difference in back pain and extremely uncomfortable. It might work on a slender person but not a fat one.
