These pencils are great and wipe away easily
Are use these pencils to draw on canvas for my oil paintings, and I love how they can be easily wiped away with Water thinner, depending on whether the canvases dry or the paint is wet. Just a gentle Touch with a soft Damp brush and the white is gone.

Don't work with watercolors
I saw a video online of an artist who said these pencils were great to use with watercolors. I tried and couldn't get any markings on my watercolor picture at all. Maybe using them alone to sketch might be great.

Awesome chalkboard pencils
These work great on my chalkboard. They help me write small enough to fill it with all the amazing bird species we see visiting our backyard. I was concerned from some other reviews that they may not erase well, but I had no issues with a damp cloth.

Real chalk in this pencil, just like the kind to use on a chalk board.
I use this product to mark exotic wood boards. I print the name of the species on the edge. It makes finding a specialty board much easier.
