Love this coffee

Absolutely love this blend! Would recommend brewing with a pour over method. The flavors become much more complex as a result.

Very happy with this coffee! I’m not usually into dark roast but this one surprised me how good it was! Strong but overbearing. Great quality!

I received a sample. While the flavor was ok, the overall product is not up to par. I prefer roasts with stronger caffeine and bold (but not too bold) flavor.

& I'm picky so this is 100% the best

It's a very rich tasting coffee.

Smucker's (the JM Smucker Company) took over the Folgers and other coffee brand names a year or so ago.While I have always associated the Folgers name with sub-par coffee my grandmother drank, this particular Folgers - the 1850 (so named because the Folgers company was first incorporated in 1850) is genuinely the best coffee that can be purchased at retail stores such as grocers.What I do not understand, however, is why Smucker's only sells it in stores in pre-ground form. I like to use my burr grinder to grind my own beans right before I brew it.I am happy that whole beans are available online, but I am a bit perturbed at Smucker's for not selling it in whole beans in the grocery stores... and that includes even the grocery stores in and around Orrville, Ohio - which has been the location of Smucker's headquarters and factory since the beginning, and a town in which I lived until recently and still live nearby.

I have purchased this over and over again. I like buying the whole bean and grinding it up myself. It makes it taste more fresh and it smells amazing! I even drink this coffee black when I’m IF (intermittent fasting) and it tastes great!
