I grabbed this to help with keeping the sandpaper on my belt sander clear of excess dust that would otherwise impede optimal sanding conditions when refinishing my deck. These bars are pretty durable as well, they don’t need to use a ton of material to clean up the paper nicely, so they last for a while. I bought two thinking I would need a ton but they worked so well I still have a healthy piece of the first one left at the end of the job. I’ve found that if you’re not using a stationary belt sander, if you fit it closer to the bottom edge of your roller, it glides back and forth much smoother than it would if you tried to press it against the center (might be common knowledge, but I don’t use a belt sander often so figured it might be useful for others!). Glad I bought this, it made the job a lot faster and I didn’t waste extra paper that still had a lot of life in it!

great product.Had issues with the laser image on a cutting board after it's treated with mineral oil. I planned to sand it out, and redo the image. Was preparing to use lots of sanding papers, but the final result surprised me by using this product to clean the sand papers. I didn't throw away even one single piece of sand paper. Block was larger than i anticipated so it will last a long time (great value for the cost) use it to clean my grinder & sandpaper, saving me time & money vs. having to replace with new when it clogged up.
