So no nothing heavy was ever on this ramp. I had to get help to take my ramp off my car and carry it and my GO-GO scooter home on back of a truck. I love the way the bed tilts to drive my scooter on one side and off the other side. The only complaint I have is when I put the ramp on my Grand Cherokee the ramp covers up the tail lights when the platform is tilted up.
