Sturdy ramp
Husband was able to assemble easily. YouTube video on this ramp helped with assembly. It takes 2 persons to place the ramp onto the hitch as its large and somewhat heavy. I recommend setting the ramp on the lowest level as this makes loading and unloading easier. We set it on the highest level and didnt have any issues. However, we utilized a side walk when available to load/unload as it was easier with less incline. Removing the plastic wrap was a bit difficult, it would rip and tear. I recommend just leaving it on. We also added more reflector tape because we use it on very long road trips and wanted the added reflection for night driving. The ramp does NOT rattle or make noises. It was quiet going all speeds and on bumpy roads. There are plenty of tie-down holes to secure a scooter. The ramp easlily foldes when not in use. I reccommend this scooter ramp.

Great Ramp
It's a very good ramp. I love the way the bed tilts to drive my scooter on one side and off the other side. The only complaint I have is when I put the ramp on my Grand Cherokee the ramp covers up the tail lights when the platform is tilted up. It needs to have tail lights.

THIS RAMP COULD CAUSE INJURY OR DEATH.
This ramp is not the one on the YouTube video that shows how easy the Tilt-A-Ramp is to operate. It would not be fit or easy for a women or a handicapped person to operate, this ramp is not road worthy. I ordered this ramp on 10/19/19. I received the ramp and assembled it only to get my first injuries from this ramp. Where the perforated metal is cut for the slide out ramp and the folding stops for the scooter wheels are razor sharp, BEWARE YOU WILL BE CUT AND BLEED FROM THESE RAW EDGES DURING ASSEMBLY AND WHEN USING THE RAMP. MOST OF THE METAL IS RAZOR SHARP, BE CAREFUL. After I stopped bleeding, I finished assembling the Tilt-A-Ramp-Premium. Next I tried to move the lever that allows the ramp to tilt. I had to use both hands and pull like hell to make it shift so the ramp would tilt, in the YouTube Demo video you can shift the ramp with ease, this is bull crap and not possible. I emailed Discount Ramps that I purchased the ramp from through Amazon to report the problems. DISCOUNT RAMPS MAIN WEB PAGE READS 100% SATISFACTION GUARANTEED. I read the terms of sale (THE FINE PRINT) Discount Ramps terms to return an item are: Please note that the original shipping cost for all returning items is non-refundable. There is a 15% return processing fee for all returns. The processing fee for returned items that ship by freight will include a freight shipping cost deduction. So to return my defective Tilt-A-Ramp Premium I would lose a lot of money. So I tried to make it work, and Discount Ramps refunded $175 to me, BECAUSE THEY KNOW THIS RAMP IS CRAP. I worked on the shift mechanism that shifts the ramp and sanded and polished all of the sharp parts to try to make this ramp work, I really needed it for my wife's GO-GO 100 lb. scooter so she could go to the doctor. I thought that I had worked everything out and the ramp was working fine, until while at the Tanger Outlet Mall I noticed that my ramp was almost touching the ground AND LEANING TO ONE SIDE. I looked under the ramp to find that the welds had broken loose and the ramp and it was about to fall off of my hitch. I have a small SUV and my wife never sits on my scooter to drives it up on the ramp to load it because I was afraid that my wife that she may break my hip again. So no nothing heavy was ever on this ramp. I had to get help to take my ramp off my car and carry it and my GO-GO scooter home on back of a truck. Now my TILT-A-RAMP-PREMIUM IS TILT-A-JUNK SCRAP METAL. DO NOT BUY THIS RAMP, PLEASE! This ramp has never had more than the weight of my wife's GO GO Elite Traveler Scooter on it, 125 lbs at most. This ramp is pure junk, I'm thinking about selling it for scrap metal. LOOK At THE PICTUREs THAT I POSTED, DON'T BUY THIS RAMP!AS FOR DISCOUNT RAMPS, I'VE SENT THEM EMAILS, PICTURES, AND A LOT OF INFORMATION ON THE RAMP. THEY'RE RESPONSE WAS BS. I REQUESTED INFORMATION ON THE MANUFACTURER SILVER SPRINGS TO SEE IF THEY WOULD STAND BY THEIR PRODUCT, THEY DECLINED. "DON'T WAIST YOUR MONEY" Great Idea Bad Design
The media could not be loaded. When I read the reviews, I was certain that the issues would be solved. Well the idea of this product was great. The design and manufacturing need work badly. The welds are still breaking. The is not penetration on them into the aluminum. The sliding rollers to select tilt side should have a notch on the shaft to held them in. Because the unit doesn't have any tight tolerances on the manufacturing and design. There is way too much movement. It did look and work clean and dry out of the box. The pins that hold the ramp in need to be enlarged. That will make it easier to get the pins to drop in and lock. The pull lever is not made of anything that strong/stiff enough. It bends way too easy. The lever to raise and lower the unit broke off from dragging. The so called guard on the back so bent from dragging. I had to take it off. Plus I had to use vise grips to grab the stub that was left. It looked good out of the box on the truck. But went down hill within hours of use. I was just hauling a single stage snow blower. I couldn't even fathom this hold an electric scooter. The pull lever to lower also fills with snow, salt and sand. Then it won't spring back to lock it. You have to tap it and line it up at the same time. Plus if you don't like it you have to pay for return shipping. "DON'T WAIST YOUR MONEY"

Arrived broken - would not tilt to one side.
We were given a discount because returning it was impossible. Since then (9/2020) we've noticed rusting (does aluminum rust?) and the thing itself is so heavy to load and to use! A person with a back or mobility problem could not use this.
