I use it mostly on the ground like a regular remote control car. My kids get excited when I put it on the walls and ceiling. It is tough and lightweight plastic. We crash and drop it and it has not cracked. The rechargeable car battery lasts long enough for my kids. Some advice, the car switch has 3 settings, wall, ground and off. Aim the controller towards the car. It appears to work best line of sight. The controller has different frequency channels. With the car switched to ground, try each channel to get the car to go.
