Hi yes it does. It connects via Bluetooth. So it can pair with any device that has Bluetooth. Including the Fire Tablet.

Will this work with any smartphone or tablet? I have the samsung orbit and want to know if it will work with my current phone until i upgrade.

I'm not sure but it should! its a bluetooth, it should work with a tablet too, it works with samsung note 9 and 8
