California Costumes Medusa Snake Headdress Standard

This was a fun headpiece for Halloween. It is sturdy, readily stays in place with a comfortable elastic band, and provided a big impact. I paired it with a long, black, light-weight cotton bathrobe and a long, adjustable snake bracelet - easy Medusa costume!

When the box arrived I thought they had used excessive packaging but when I opened it the headpiece was just as big. It's lightweight hollow on the back with foam padding for your forehead. I haven't tried it on with my wig yet but with my hair pulled back it does move from side to side because the elastic band around my head gaps on the sides close to the front. However, I noticed if you can pinned down the elastic in those areas it won't move. This piece is big and may take some getting used to wearing. Overall I love it and the look. Will work for my needs.

Pricey. The red snake eyes are pretty cheesy so I attached red rhinestones and added some colored ones to the top part of the headband area which made the piece look better. I thought this item was pricey for how it looks out of the package but I was too lazy to paint snakes and attach them to my hair and didn’t want the feel of nasty rubber snakes near my face, neck so this was an easy 1 piece headdress. I wish the piece was more curved against the head- it sits more flat across the forehead. In the end, it served its purpose (Halloween costume) and was reasonably comfortable so all work with the modifications I made.

I had an old Medusa costume I was going to recycle but lost the snakes... they were very flimsy and cheap and probably bent up in storage anyway. This was PERFECT! it's much more durable. It's a little heavier but it has a nice forehead pad so you don't feel the plastic. It will get many more years of use when i recycle that costume again in a few years! 😉 👻

I wanted to be the Versace logo for Halloween. I got the head piece and it was the perfect size! Comfortable to wear and light. I wanted a little more bling so I spray painted it and added glitter. Held the paint and glitter great! Highly recommend to accessorize your look! Great purchase!

I like the color of this product. I purchased two for me and my adult daughter to wear as part of our Medusa/medusa sister costumes. There is a very thick foam attachment at the front which secures the snake part of the headdress. It goes across your forehead with an elastic band at the back. The piece is not well balanced - the top part leans back instead of straight up. Seems it would fit better with a headband type of attachment that goes across the top of the head but that's not what it is. It is an elastic band that is expected to hold the piece securely across your forehead. It's a fail. It was a waste of money for me.

Nice addition to my Halloween costume, changed the look from medieval maid to Medusa for the little cost of a headpiece!

Loved this! Bought as part of a Halloween outfit and was not disappointed; looks and feels great and got lots of compliments. Only downside was cost as had to come from US (to UK)
