awesome little set of the handiest sizes of vice grips
awesome little set of the handiest sizes of vice grips. I used the holder for my wrenches and it works great. I only buy American made tools now... And the Irwin brand is among the best.... all the other vice grip knockoffs are cheap imitations.

Best brand for viss grips. I have some snap-on ones that don't grip as tight as these.

Appallingly bad, the large set of vice grips is unusable ...
The media could not be loaded. Appallingly bad, the large set of vice grips is unusable due to the fact that the jaws are so loosely mounted that the lower jaw slides over the top jaw for a good 3mm before the pliers start tightening up. (See video)All the pliers have 4-5mm sideways play in the jaws, worse than the 30 year old bashed up ones i was planning to replace.If it wasn't for the fact that shipping from Australia would be so expensive, i would demand a refund.Sooo Bad... Words fail me... The crappiest rustiest pair of Chinese vice grips from a garage sale would without a doubt be better than these.

At some time in the last 2-3 years, Irwin has started manufacturing the Vice Grips in China. Before then, they were made in the USA.
