Paul Harvey's the Rest of the Story

This is a must read! Paul Harvey is before my time, but the way this book is written it is timeless. There are amazing stories in this book that are true. This book is a collection of true stories that is well written and entertaining. My husband and I would read a story each night; look it up on the internet and find out that what he wrote was true. There are stories about how the dictionary came about; how a famous author almost got away with the perfect murder and so many more. We not only bought this for ourselves, but bought a copy for some friends as well as my parents. I wish he wrote more books like this!

Book was a bit yellowed but its 40 year old...

Paul Harvey is the kind of man you think of when you consider our nation's most influential people over the last 100 years. I enjoyed his book because I could imagine his voice when I read his stories. It's great when you can read all of these short stories that are often two pages or so long, and quickly get to the plot. I found myself getting more and more anxious as I approached the end to find out who Mr. Harvey was writing about. In my opinion he's the greatest story teller of all time.

I love Paul Harvey and i used to listen to his "And now the rest of the story" stories on the radio going to work. Always fun and interesting.

Looks like blood or mold stains all over the front cover... terrible... was used butnsupposed to be in good shape... so far from it

One of the most interesting collections of short stories I've ever seen.

Have this to my dad as he grew up listening to Paul Harvey. He loves it. Very interesting stories. There is no one like Paul Harvey.

Grew up listening to Paul Harvey on the radio bought this book to share his stories with a new generation (minus the distinctive voice).

everything went well, and I already knew the book was great having been a regular fan. I just wish someone nowadays would do something similar with new celebs.
