I didn’t find that to be the case at all. In fact, they were incredibly easy to get out. You take tweezers and push the case inside that’s holding the earring out, then push your tweezers through the seam. That’s it- it opens right up. Then you take the tweezers and push the backing right out. Probably took me 30 seconds for each earring. Anywho, really nice quality. I am so excited to finally heal!
