Broken RJ45 Connector Solution (10 pcs: Assorted Colours of Black/Silver/Blue/Yellow/Clear)

I have a network cable that runs through the wall from one floor of our house to another. Both ends have broken which leads to the cable fallout of the printer and switch if you even look at it funny. I can't replace the cable with out having to rip out the dry wall. Yes, I could have grabbed my kit and put a new end on it, but who has time for that? Plus do I really want to be lying under my desk to do that? Nope. These work perfectly. Just snapped them on and boom, network cables that lock in place. A huge time saver!

I purchased the RJCLIP Broken RJ45 Connector Solution (10 pcs: Assorted Colours) to fix a network cable end with a broken retaining clip. I have a 75’ network cable that runs from my router in the living room all the way through plastic wall cord covers, around the fireplace, under the carpet and back through more wall cord covers. I wanted a solution (short of replacing the RJ-45 connector end) that would keep me from having to replace the entire cable. Once I trimmed off some of the rubber housing from the old cable end the RJCLIP snapped right on the cable connector. I then pushed the cable end into my router and heard a happy “click” to know it locked the cable end snugly into place. A quick pull on the cable confirmed the cable was not going to pull out. I would highly recommend RJCLIP as a quick and easy way to repair network cable ends.

They work great but are pretty expensive for a few pieces of plastic.

i was about to replace a 150ft ethernet cable because both clips had broken off after years of usage. these revived the cable and are exactly what i expected!

My son had a bad habit of plugging and unplugging the RJ45 internet cable out of the back of his computer and Xbox he unplug it and plug one in or the other back and forth and he kept breaking the clips off of each cord I put on there so I had three bad cords I got these as a perfect fit does a wonderful job to hold the cable in place I definitely recommend these cheap and easy to do

If you work in a “properly” cabled facility in an office, you don’t need this, because all long cables are in the walls and terminate in a punchdown jack. The cable from the wall outlet has a broken tab? A new SlimRun cable may be cheaper than fixing the tab on the old one, if you don’t mind creating e-waste. But if your physical network infrastructure is less than perfect, and you have long and/or hard-to-restring CABLES with RJ45 plugs on them, these are an excellent repair to the delicate clip. Yes, I can snip off the bad connector (after taking a photo of the wire order…) and crimp a new connector on, but experience teaches that I’m pretty bad at it, and I should budget time and wire to test the cable and prepare to clip off my plug and try again. The people who should buy this right now: anybody using RJ45 connectors in a live/one-time/time-critical event; throw these in the to-go toolbox. Maybe you’ll never use them. But this product instantly repairs a common problem and requires no skill to install; you can send someone else to do it.

Worked better than other brand. Seems more durable.

Overpriced and didn’t solve my issue. Returned.
