The obvious parallel was the McCarthyism of the 1950s in America, but if you read between the lines you can see similar forces distorting our perceptions of reality today.If you have not read the book, order it at once. Even if have read the book earlier, it is always worth a second read.

Got a chance to purchase this piece for my ug course. Plot was different. To enjoy a variety in genre of literature this piece will be the nice collection.

The Crucible is a disturbing story and yet so beautifully written.
Font and spacing are fine. I expected chronology from a Penguin book. The pictures on the back are beautiful.

Read this for my English Lit IGCSE. Gotta say it kept me reeled in the whole damn time. I would definitely recommend it!

The play is from a real life incident. That makes it all the more intriguing and once started is hard to put down.A must read for all the lovers of plays.Entertaining read.

(German review) Wortwörtlich: Zu Wild das Buch
Im Abitur haben wir im Englisch LK das Buch durchgenommen gehabt. An sich fand ich das Buch echt geil, es lässt sich sehr viel hinein interpretieren, jedoch nicht so viel, wie 1984 von George Orwell oder sonstige.Da ich Mittlerweile eine Ansammlung an Bücher habe, aus verschiedenen Genre, die sowohl meinem Geiste, als auch meinem Verstand etwas bringen soll, habe ich mir gedacht, dass ich mir mal das Buch auch gönne und mir gebe. Das Abi ist ja auch schon etwas her.Ist es empfehlenswert? Ja auf jeden Fall. Gönnt euch.For the english people: Just buy it and read it. Insane stuff!!!
