I am satisfied with the weight of this base.My unit arrived with a couple of the tiles off. They were not broken, just in the box, not on the base. I just need to get some adhesive to fix this.I am very disappointed with the lock down screw holes. Both holes had bad threads. On the first one, I thought it was just tight at the end until I unscrewed the knob and saw the threads on the screw. Now the screw thread and the hole threads were bad. Fortunately, I own a rethreading set and was able to fix it. If you don’t have a rethreading tool or a tap & die set, I would think twice before buying this.
