Sanilo ROUND, Silent Slow Close, Molded Wood, Adjustable Toilet Seat, Black Stones

This is very sturdy, very well made, very comfortable, toilet seat. Solid and worth every penny paid. I am impressed with the quality and overall product. The art is beautiful and very bright and vibrant.That being said, be prepared to lose your mind trying to install this thing. The instructions overthink and display a nightmare of bolts washers and rotating hinge bases to try and line up a hole, haha. Honestly, if you throw away the instructions it will probably take you less time installing this seat. WATCH THE VIDEO instead of using the instructions! Get out a tape measure, note the hole distance on your bowl, align the hinge discs to that distance, and go from there. The easiest way to mount this seat is to screw in the bolts to the SEAT hinges first, before placing on the bowl, rather than following the instructions and align it from under the bowl INTO the seat hinges. Regardless, after installation, I am VERY happy with this product and would purchase from again.

This was not what I expected. This is a really nice seat! I thought it was going to be a cheap piece of wood with plastic hinges and garbage mounting. Absolutely nothing of the sort!The hinges are all metal. They are pretty heavy and nice. I bought the slow close model so the seat wouldn't drop on the toilet and glad I did. The seat and lid are pretty heavy. The finish is awesome also. I have no idea how long the picture will last, but it sure looks great!I had a cheap POS I bought from Home Depot and paid just a few dollars less than this one. It is hitting the trash and I ordered another seat for the downstairs toilet!

it should only take 5 minutes to put a toilet seat on. this one took an hour and today after about a month it fell apart. where the bolts go through the toilet there is a round metal disk with 4 holes and 1 screw.I had to keep turning the metal disks until the distance between the threaded rod would fit through the holes in toilet. took a while believe me. then I had to put the threaded rod into the metal disk but there was no way to tighten it other than finger tight and today the threaded rod fell out.no matter how tight I tighten the nuts nothing holds the threaded rod in place.nightmare toilet seat. I got it because I needed a slow close but this one is bad.

I usually wait several months before reviewing a product, but since I almost didn't order this one because of the negative reviews regarding the fit, I thought I'd review it early and then review it again later. It's solid wood. The colors are true. It fits nicely on my standard round, American Standard toilet. It took a few minutes of fiddling with the pivot screws to make everything line up, but it was by no means difficult and it fits fine as the pictures show. After 2 months it's held up pretty well to the various sittings and cleanings, but since my last toilet seat held up well for 10 years this one has a long way to go. However, I'm incredibly satisfied with its look and performance so far.

Kind of small for our Toto toilet it’s very pretty however I do believe we will be upgrading to a Toto seat with all the works soon since this is too small turned the light off so you could see the glitter

I love that Sanilo offers such a wide variety of toilet seat designs. Everything at big box home improvement stores is a SNOOZE. I chose the silver glitter toilet seat to brighten up a contractor spec toilet that I’m too cheap to replace. It looks great with the Ceris-colored walls in my powder room. It’s a little touch of pizzazz without being tacky. The seat is of solid construction, more comfortable than the seat it replaced and was easy to install. I’m very happy with my purchase.

This is built like the "old-fashioned" toilet seats but with the slow close hinge...which is lovely. Very pleased with this order.

Very beautiful, high quality print and great quality of the materials as well. It wasn't too hard to assemble following the instructions and works great so far.
