Which wouldn't be an issue if I wasn't freezing liquid,which needs an allowance at the top to allow for the contents to expand. ### ⭐ Lead detected in paint used on jars. *by C***R on Reviewed in the United States on July 18, 2018* I just tested the paint on these jars, and it tests positive for lead. This is a major concern, especially as the paint wears off and particles may end up inside the jars when they are soaked in water. Unfortunately, the manufacturer's claim that these glass jars are lead free is not true. ### ⭐ Customer Service not existent, break easily *by N***K on Reviewed in the United States on April 16, 2018* I ordered 12x 8oz jars, and have been very careful to avoid sudden changes in temperature. When the first jar broke while I was putting frozen baby food in it, I thought I was careless, but when two more just split in half within a week as I was putting iced baby food in it (and wasting the food with it), I figured I had a bad batch. Calling the company was useless, it's a non responsive number.
