does the tab go on the top or bottom

You pinch the tab with your index and thumb to insert and remove the earplugs. Then up to you if you prefer to position the tab upward, which makes it easier to reach with your fingers when you get to removing them; or downward, if you want to cradle the tab inside the bottom of ear lobe, so it fits neatly and doesn't stick out. Will these work for small ears? For adult.

LaloLab earplugs are standard size and should fit most adult ears, both men and women. We know each person's ears are different, though. If you try them and find that they're too big, we'll offer a refund within 30 days. No risk.

Can i cut off the tab at the end? the tab sticks out of my ear and bothers me when i sleeo, i even tried to position it downward toward my ear lobe.

The elongated tab is there to help you pinch the end of the earplug and pull it safely out of your ear. We recommend first trying to bend the tab down toward your ear lobe. If that doesn't work, then you can cut 1mm from the tab using scissors - that'll reduce the length of the tab and its sticking out. Just be careful because doing that might also make it a bit harder to pull out.

Do these actually fit in the ear? I bought multiple sized foam plugs and they fall right out

These aren't similar to foam earplugs. They're made with hypoallergenic skin-friendly material and have an ergonomic shape that's designed for optimal comfort in your ear. We currently offer a standard size and soon will come out with small and large size variations because people's ears are different shapes and sizes. Overall, no matter the earplug type, the wearing experience is something that's personal to each person. We often remind customers that it takes practice to find the best position but it's really important because proper fit means best performance.
