Necessary for door handle replacement
You'll need this to replace a broken door handle on some cars. I used it to work on a 2008 Pontiac Vibe rear driver side handle. It worked like a charm. Feels sturdy and fit on my socket wrench like a glove. Success!

Replaced my old Silver Eagle T30
I've had a "Silver Eagle" brand set of Torx bits for a long time, bought off a Matco truck around 14 years ago. I had to warranty a couple of these recently, but since there's no Matco dealer where I'm currently doing business, I had to mail them in for warranty. Took a few weeks, but I did eventually get my replacements from Matco, but they were now Matco-branded, not Silver Eagle. And my T30 was now a fat 3/8" drive and not the 1/4" I had come to rely on in some of the tight spaces I use them frequently in.So, on to search for a replacement. I actually had just a Snap on bit I hammered into a 1/4" socket (also 1/4" drive). That bit has finer tips and started to twist within the first couple times I used it.So, I came here to find something similar to my old Silver Eagle set and found this. Ordered it and after a couple weeks of use I've been very happy. This is very comparable to my old Silver Eagle T30 1/4" drive. The tips are thicker than the Snap On one and so far has held up very well to my use. It almost looks as though it's made by the same company that made the Silver Eagle set 14 years ago. Not sure if it's true, but the size and quality is definitely there.

Superior results for a bargain price
I had to remove the bed from my Ford Ranger to replace my fuel pump. This little tool, with the help of a piece of pipe over the ratchet handle, made short work of the six bolts holding it down. I sprayed PB blaster on and let it soak in for a day, hit them with a hammer and then they cranked right out. Highly recommended! Great value as I almost bought an impact wrench that would have been way more expensive.

Decent
The tool truck version of these are around 30 bucks each. I can buy a handful of these for the same price and who cares if they break. But they hold up pretty well for the price.

It will do the job!
I bought this torx 1/4" drive for clutch cover removal or a specific trail emergency. It is in a trail recovery tool bag which I hope I will never use. I made sure it fit the torx bolt well. It looks and feels fine. I'm sure if it is used properly it will work fine for my life.

light duty tool
OK this is both a good and bad tool depending on expectations/use. I bought this to remove the bed on my 1997 ford ranger. There are 6 T-55 bolts holding the bed on. As this is a one time only job I did want to buy an expensive 1/2 inch impact bit. As I had been soaking the bolts in kroil oil for days I decided to try this low cost bit. Bit arrived within two days(prime). Is chrome like finish not impact, but I knew that. I used a 3/8 to 1/2 inch adapter to my impact wrench. Bolts came out. HAPPY CAMPER!. SO as I already stated tool worked as I expected, good. BUT bit also showed signs of strain(very slight stretching around actual bit to socket joint), not good if I expected to use this bit again/heavy use. This is just fine for light applications only!! I believe would have snapped if not for the kroil. In closing a fine light tool or a one time heavy use on a wing and a prayer. Proper tool for the job and all that!! OH I still have the bit might come in handy someday, and I still have lots of kroil oil.
