I don't want to make broad generalizations about what might be true for all users of this product, however, I would like to provide my sincere support for this sleep lotion as a foster parent of a child that has some very unhealthy experiences with sleep. What you or I call normal is not normal for individuals that grow up in the foster system, and, for better or worse, cannot be reasonably expected to be. What you will find with any child in foster care is that many have experienced trauma throughout their lives and interrupted and unrestful sleep is natural consequence of this reality. My foster child has historically been very anxious and shows symptoms of separation anxiety that make putting them down difficult resulting in the foster child screaming and crying for 30 minutes to an hour until they finally tire out and fall asleep. With this lotion, I was able to see the effects and their body and mind slow down within 15 minutes and by 45 minutes I was able to put them down without issue. I, personally, have taken magnesium supplements before bed for years and have used it during times to manage stressful situations. Whether this product will work for all children equally, but I can testify that in a difficult circumstance, this product worked for my family.

Love this lotion! I was skeptical, but it has truly helped my little one sleep. He's 16 months old and has always been a decent sleeper, but I can always tell the nights his legs hurt because he's so so restless. Its also almost always taken us half an hour or more of rocking and nursing for him to fall asleep. After using the lotion, he falls asleep within 15 minutes and sleeps a great first stretch, typically only waking once or twice throughout the whole night. It smells good and isn't greasy. I'll definitely be keeping this in the house at all times!

Update: It may have just taken a few days because it seems to maybe be working better now. He still gets riled before bed but less tossing and turning. It seems like he’s falling asleep faster because he’s also waking up on time and in a happy mood (we usually have to wake him for daycare). He definitely needs 4-5 pumps. I will probably keep trying it for awhile. I don’t think this works for our 3 year old son unfortunately. Despite having a bedtime routine for years, he gets super riled up as soon as it’s time to turn the lights off and then once finally calm, takes an hour to fall asleep many nights. This hasn’t seemed to make much or any of a difference. It has a nice light smell but I don’t think it’s potent enough for him. That or Magnesium just doesn’t work for him.

I ordered this for my 1 1/2 year old with hopes that it would help her sleep better through the night. While it smells nice and is easy to apply, I noticed absolutely no change in her sleep at all. The bottle is rather small and doesn't last very long. Overall, it's a decent lotion as it absorbs well and smells good, but if you are looking for a solution to sleepless nights, I wouldn't recommend it.

Our kiddo has issues winding down for sleep at night and this lotion really helps! The lotion is a little runny compared to normal lotion but he reads 30 minutes before bed so he just applies it before he starts and it is all soaked in by the time he is finished reading. We are on our third bottle and he still says he truly sleeps better with it. Highly recommend!

Works great for my little restless toddler he enjoys it on his feet and legs after baths. It helps if at least calm down and seems to sleep calmer in my opinion he is a go go toddler all the time and this helps him

I honestly didn’t notice a difference with this lotion, I purchased it twice to see if it was something that built up over time… I didn’t see any sleep changes. I wouldn’t waste the money on it. One positive thing, my kids have very sensitive skin and it didn’t irritate their skin.

Our new favorite product for sensory needs! My son has autism and before we started using this product, he would wake at night and take forever to settle down at night. With the help of an elimination diet, our weighted blanket plus this magnesium lotion, our son goes to sleep on his own with zero issues and sleeps all night long! Going on two weeks of uninterrupted sleep! 5 stars and ordering another bottle now!

If I could give 50 stars I would, this cream is honestly our holy grail. I’m not one for leaving reviews, but this is by far the best £7 I’ve ever spent in my life. My one and half year old has been an awful sleeper since he was around 6 months old, we’ve been to numerous doctors appointments and osteopaths to try and figure out why he wouldn’t sleep at night. After a family friend suggested magnesium lotion we thought we would give it a go and my word it’s changed ours lives. Not only does he now sleep through every single night, it’s also helped him learn how to self settle. We’re now two weeks in and have started using it every other night and just rubbing it into his legs (this is due to him getting a slight rash on his back from the cream). But even only using it every other night it still does the job perfectly, we’ve noticed a massive change in his mood as he’s finally getting a decent night sleep and so are my husband and I! We’ve recommended it to all of our friends who have children!

I have never written a review on a product before, but this has changed my sons sleep! We put it on the soles of his feet and he now sleeps 11-12 hours a night. It totally calms him and works amazingly! The cream also smells lovely, easy to apply, not sticky at all.

This cream has a lovely scent to it. It's not too overpowering for use on babies at nighttime. The lotion absorbs well into the skin and doesn't leave a residue. I found ny baby more relaxed throughout the night after being massaged with this lotion during bedtime routine. It is fairly pricey for a lotion, however if looking for one to help relax baby and perhaps help with restlessness overnight it's worth it.
