Daler Rowney 12ml Simply Oil Set (Pack of 6)

I hate it! Color is ok, but what is the use in color if you can't even paint with it! I bought this at walmart with some christmas money, it was my first set of oil paints, so i wasn't sure what to expect, but these suck! It doesn't glide across the paper at all, it doesn't blend or build up, and ends up chalkey! I wish I could give this 0 stars!

I personally think this was a waste of money! Other artists may find it adequate-- and that's great-- but I found it nothing but frustrating. It does not glide as smoothly as most oil paint, which is why I normally prefer it to other mediums. Instead, it became somewhat of a chalky consistency upon multiple brush strokes... I usually use the Daler Rowney Georgian Oil kits-- which are pretty nice, for the price-- but I decided to try this one to save a little money. I never get the uber-expensive kind, as my talent is not of a professional level, by any means. I realize that this is a cheap kit for beginners, but honestly, I think that it will turn some people off from using oil paints, as it presents a false impression. My advice is to pay the extra money and get the Georgian Oil kits by this same company.

everything in it looks just right, i hope the paint is just as great. (i am familiar with the brand, their acrylic paints are perfect)
