While the clippers are not silent, and we didn’t expect them to be, they are far quieter than standard clippers that we have previously tried. They are also friendly looking, so we left it out for our son to basically play with, as it looks like a toy. We attached the 3/6 attachment, so the bare clippers were not exposed. Even if they were, these are still very safe and wouldn’t cause any harm or injury. He turned it on and off throughout the day, touching the clippers off his cheek or arm, and sometimes his hair, familiarising himself with the clippers. By the end of that day, he was comfortable enough for us to sit next to him and cut his hair with them. He now has a fresh buzz cut, and his face is back to being bright and happier looking. After 2 days he let us give him a full cut 🙌🏼 His hair is so thick but he was happy to let us work away the whole 10mins. Now every childs sensory limits will be different, but for quietness and low vibration, these are well worth the money.
