This thing is so handy and easy. It works very well for candles and for some types of incense. Thicker, heavier incense sticks take a bit more effort. I love that I don't have to deal with boxes of stick matches that break or blow out in the wind or matchbooks that scatter everywhere. Definitely is windproof even in a strong. Charges quickly and keeps its charge for a long time. Sleek. Easy. The safety features are good. If you forget to press the on/off button, it shuts down after 15 seconds. I have three types now, and find this one--one of the least expensive--works as well if not better than the models that are double the price. This one is a bit lighter weight, but I prefer that.

However, I'm deducting one star because I had one incident where the tip caught on fire while trying to light a candle. It was a bit alarming, and I had to quickly extinguish it. This happened just once, but it's a significant safety concern. Despite that isolated incident, I still find these lighters highly useful and convenient. Just exercise caution and be mindful of the tip's proximity to the candle wick during use.

I was a little skeptical that this would work as advertised, but I am sold on it now. I used it to light sparklers which I could not like through other means because of the strong wind. very happy with this product.

Excellent produit, très pratique et efficace.

The battery life isn't exactly what I had hoped, but this is made up for in the ease of use, I share it with my 11 year old sister and it really helps that there's no open flame and it shuts off very quickly too. It is also very aesthetically pleasing and doesn't stick out like regular lighters do, so I really appreciate that. If you do plan on buying this, I highly recommend but be aware that there is a loud buzz when it is "lit", it's not unbearable but if you have pets sensitive to noise, it is something you should know before buying, other than that, fantastic.

100% as pictured, works exactly as expected, slightly larger than expected similar length to a tv remote when i was expecting more similar size to a pen. But other than that its perfect, comes with a charger and introductions!
