I love these tongs compared to bamboo. Just like I ordered years ago from Pampered chef.

I thought it might be easily broken but is very sturdy. I’m pleased with it.

Though these are well made, the quality is good with the bamboo that they're made of. Good length for grabbing. I gave 4 stars only because sometimes they're a little wide at the tip to grab thick toast in a narrow-slotted toaster but overall these fit the bill.

I bought these toaster tongs as a gift for my elderly disabled sister. It's hard for her to reach the toaster from her wheel chair, and I didn't want her to try to pry out toast or frozen waffles with a fork or anything else made of metal. I was hoping they would be longer, but they get five stars because my sister loves them. No more burned fingers. Since there were a pair of them, she can you the extra for other things. She was so happy to receive them and had never heard of toaster tongs before. I can't vouch for the durability or easy to clean, because I don't live with her. They felt sturdy when I was wrapping them, and they looked easy to clean. They are definitely easy to use.

I bought these for removing toast from my toaster. I used to have a pair of plastic tongs for that purpose but they went missing. Now I find that I use these for other purposes during the week--the best use I've found for them is adding toppings to my tacos on Taco Tuesday with our family. Perfect for stuffing the taco with shredded cheese, lettuce, etc. Also use them for getting pickle spears from the jar. I always hand wash--I don't think these would hold up to a lot of cycles through a dishwasher. I really can't speak to the durability. I've had them over a month and we used them almost daily. I think they're pretty handy!

I love the firmness of the pinch. They work well in pulling trays and racks out of my toaster oven! So nice not to have to improvise! I have one pair near the toaster oven and the other in a drawer in case I need to use the first pair on food.I would like to say that whomever thinks these are meant for using on salads or any other form of food prep, I don't see how this would be feasible. The tongs have very small ends and you would end up serving salads to ants! lol If you want tongs to cook with or serve food, look for tongs which open wide and have wide ends meant for scooping up and cooking food. These are wonderful tongs but not meant for that.

Mostly for retrieving odd shaped or smaller pieces of bread out of the toaster. No fear of damaging the wires or burning my fingers. They are simply perfect for this task and I couldn't do without them.

The wooden tongs are the perfect tool to use to get that pesky bagel or toast out of the toaster without burning your pinkys! We know we should never use your knife to stab that toast to get it out of the toaster right? But we do with the result either wrecking the fine filaments in the toaster or worse getting zapped.The wooden tongs are the perfect size for getting out your toast and they are strong enough that they will last a very long time with proper use. The bonus for me is the other set of tongs included are now used to get pickles, hot peppers, sauer kraut etc out of the jars they come in. I recommend these tongs.

Love them, order four more. We even use them when eating popcorn and chips not to dirty his fingers lol using the phone or remote control lol.. Well made, sturdy and easy to use and the grip is fantastic.

I use these for hot pot nights with the kids. I can use chopsticks but they can't, but they manage very well with these! Not expensive, easy to wash and effective.
