Rigid and not fold-able.
These pads are really abrasive. However, they are extremely rigid and do not fold like other 3M pads do. They break into pieces. I bought them to use as scouring pads in the sink. They will scratch stainless, but if you need to quickly remove burned on gunk or even rust, they will do the trick.
