Thanks** A: No it does not include the handles. **Q: Can you use a metal knife and fork with this** A: These are cast iron, so, yes, you can use metal utensils. Be aware that you must “season” these before first use, which involves a simple process of oiling them and heating them -directions included. Then they will be virtually non-stick, and like all cast iron pans, get better with age. You do not use soap on these, just a stiff brush or scraper and hot water to clean. After use, clean then wipe a thin coat of vegetable oil on them with kitchen towel. Cast iron is lovely for stews, casseroles, etc. These Judge pans are lovely, well-made, and I was happy to find them on Amazon. **Q: What is the width including the handles?** A: Inc handles 22.4cm on mine. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great little grill dish *by M***. on 9 August 2024* I wanted a small dish to grill individual burgers or a couple of sausages etc and I prefer cast iron to coated non-stick pans. This one is great at this price and the wooden serving tray is just a handy bonus as a pot stand for use straight out of the oven. I really don't understand the numerous reviews for many cast iron pans that talk about rust or discolouration or food sticking...as long as you do the following:1. season it well before first use2. let it cool after cooking in it, and then clean it using just hot water and a steel (or similarly tough) scourer (no soap!) and definitely don't put in a dishwasher3. make sure it's fully dry straight away...don't let it sit in a dish rack4. do not cook acidic foods like tomatoes or vinegar in it (it will remove the seasoning)5. wipe a little vegetable oil over the full cooking surface with a paper towel.Following these simple rules I've never had to re-season a pan and all my cast iron pans (and carbon steel ones) are more non-stick than teflon. Saying it would serve 2 -4 is pushing it, 1-2 maybe! The internal base dimensions are 14.5cm x 9cm so I don't know where they measured the 16cm x 11cm.
