Life-Changing Insights with Universal Principles
I really enjoyed this book, which was recommended by a friend who kept mentioning how it had changed their life. Now that I have read it, I can understand why.Although it is Christian-based, the principles would work for anyone. My biggest takeaway was that God does not distinguish between secular and religious actions; every action we take is either worshiping or not worshiping God. Therefore, as we set visions, they do not need to be explicitly spiritual but should be based on spiritual principles.

Best Book I Have Ever Read On Vision
Quite frankly, "Visioneering" by Andy Stanley is the best book I have ever read on the topic of vision. George Barna wrote a good book a number of years ago entitled "The Power of Vision", however, his title is targeted more for the church leader.Stanley's book, on the other hand, is geared towards any Christian who wants to have a vision for his or her life. The narrative flows freely and is an excellent read. Stanley focuses on the biblical character of Nehemiah to draw parallels between what he faced and what we can face today when searching for a vision for our lives.Among the topics covered include:1. Praying and planning about the vision God has for you.2. How faith is an important part of vision.3. The price of having a vision.4. Obstacles you face in your vision.5. The importance of having moral authority.6. Distractions you will face.7. Maintaining your course when pursuing the vision God has for you.I highly recommend the book to any Christian who wants to get out of their comfort zone and wants to pursue God's best for his or her life.Read and enjoy!

AMAZING BOOK.... A MUST READ
Finally finished Visioneering: God's Blueprint for Developing and Maintaining Personal Vision and I have to say it was by far one of the BEST books I have read that has caused so much growth! I honestly cannot thank the friend who recommended it to me enough! Will be honest, at first I wasn't so sure if I was going to get much at all from it. But after I got past chapter 4, that was when I honestly couldn't put it down. So many things Andy writes about that I personally have been struggling with just empowered me that much more to keep pressing toward the mark with my vision of my business and how God is truly working behind the scenes. This vision I have truly found is not about me, but about the people who are around me. I can't stop now, as there is a greater work to be done! ~ I will end with this, if you have not read this book, get it and read it! It will change you and how you view your vision or should I say God's vision for your life, business and family.

Good insightful book
Like a number of other books I've read recently by preachers of mega-churches they spend a lot of time covering a somewhat limited subject. This may sound like a criticism but it's not. The author has unique insight into what a vision for something is, how to recognize a vision vs just a random idea, how to act or when not to act, what to do and what not to do, what mistakes have been made that cut short a vision. It's an excellent book for any Christian who wants to do more than just sit in a pew and be a random sheep waiting to die. He goes into great depth and repeats each point numerous times in order to commit it to memory. Thus the comment about spending a lot of time on a limited subject. I got mine on Kindle and had no problems with the format.

Finally Understanding My Dreams
A friend recommended this book when I told her how I keep dreaming of events shortly before they take place. Even when awake, I could picture and hear something happening or someone just before it happens. This whole time I thought it was ESP (Extra Sensory Perception), but this book made it clear that it's much more than that.

Amazing Book on Leadership and Vision
An absolutely wonderful book! Visioneering provides an insight into the leadership principles of the Old Testament prophet, Nehemiah and how one can apply his principles and ideals in modern society. I knew I was going to enhoy this book because Nehemiah is my favorite character in the Old Testament. I have also listened to Andy Stanley’s sermons and have been very impressed with how practical he is. He does not try to get too technical with the details and preaches as well as writes in a way that can be read and heard by anyone in any situation. I highly recommend this book to anyone who needs some sense of direction in life as well as encouragment in maintaining principles and standards in a complicated and broken world.

Visioneering is Visionary!!
Thanks, Andy for an incredible insightful read. I am about to head off on a 67-day road 5rip around Australia as the Support Crew Chief for a World Cycle Challenge Record ride in support of a riding girlfriend of mine Ms. Lesa Ashford to be the first Solo Female Cyclist to ride solo around Australia. 14,200 klms in total. I have already utilised some of the content in your book to get my Rider and Volunteer Support Crew on board with Lesa's Vision and to also focus on her goals as well. Blessings Wayne Smith

A must read on Visioneering
A great book on discovering and furthering your vision. Very important is the contrast for a Christian to also believe that their vision is God birthed and we are asked to submit to God’s will instead of our own.

Helpful for new leaders
Inspiring as well as practical for our new executive leaders. They appreciated the Biblical basis of Nehemiah as well as the personal stories told.
