This was honestly such a fun unboxing. You get a great mix of necklaces, rings, earrings, and other pieces, and the gothic theme really comes through. Some pieces are more dramatic than others, but that’s part of the fun with a mystery jar. Perfect for Halloween outfits or everyday alternative style.

It was purchased as a Christmas gift. Definitely love that it was perfect. Would definitely recommend.

I got to admit this was super fun opening this up and looking at all the different gothic jewelry. All of the rings come in various sizes and are a bit adjustable, and so they all have an open gap, just good for you to know. There were some really cool earrings and brooches and hair clips and leather bracelets and all different types of items. There is some pretty unique stuff in here and it was pretty fun to open so this would make a cool gift for that goth chick in your life. Honestly some of the jewelry was a little weird but I think that's what makes it so much fun. Value for money? It might not be the best quality of items out there, and some of them I probably wouldn't wear, but it was unique And really fun so I'll give it that.

This mystery jar had a lot of crosses in it and wild crosses are fine if you’re looking for a jewelry mystery jar you shouldn’t be having majority of one type of jewelry and anything. The jewelry itself was poor quality and we’re not very happy with the product.

Another damaged container!

Ok, so a true Goth jar of jewelry would NOT come with this much plastic. One ring came broken. The bracelets' fasteners aren't good and will break pretty quickly. That being said, this is costume jewelry meant for Halloween or similar parties. It's expected that it won't last long enough to go past a party or two. It's not going to end up being heirlooms. So...eh...it is what it is. And what this is, is a jar of fairly pretty "jewelry" that made my daughter's eyes pop out of her skull for a fraction of a second. Maybe. Kinda. Sorta. She's enthralled with it and said "it's just so pretty mom!!" Would I have purchased this outside Vine? Ehhh...I don't think so. While just under $30 for 34 (one was broken, remember?) pieces of jewelry might sound great, the quality is so poor that its not really worth the price. Less plastic, more metal, and this would have been very much worth it.

So these are not the most high quality pieces of jewelry, but it's kind of about quantity for what I had in mind anyways.. so that's ok. And there's also a super important element with these sort of mystery jars anyway that relies heavily on "ooOOoooOoh what am I gonna get?!" I love that feeling, it's always fun with these. So I gleefully unpacked my jar inspecting every bit and bob. Since its "goth" themed theres a whole lot of crosses, black, and red. I enjoyed the hair clip type things and a few of the rings are really cool. The earrings mostly aren't to my taste, but there's a spike pair that is super cool. A few items I plan on wearing, but most I'm going to work into an upcycled art project that requires a lot of loose jewelry. But this jar is perfect for it. If you don't go in expecting the moon, you won't be disappointed. Fun jar, would recommend.
