To the extent that this form of the vitamin keeps me in the safe zone (60 to 80 ng/dl), I love it. Be advised that you must have your D3 level tested by your doctor to know how much you should take to reach the safe zone. Also know that the RDA of 600 IU is way to low to be beneficial. Most of us will likely need 10,000 IU or more to be in that safe zone, especially if you don't spend much time in the sun without sunscreen, or if you live in the northern part of the U.S. where for six months of the year there is little sun.In case you think 10,000 IU sounds like a lot, divide the 10,000 by 40 to get the micro gram equivalent. In this case it equals 250 micro grams, or I/4 of a milligram. Once you start vitamin D3 have your doctor check your level after 3 months.
