I have a 2017 Cadillac XT5. It has a lot of black trim around the lower body and portions of the front and rear bumpers. Recently I noticed that after polishing my car there was some polish smeared on the black trim which I had difficulty removing without complete satisfaction. I also noticed that the black trim was not quite as clean looking as new several months ago. After a lot of research of products and reviews I selected this one. Last week after thoroughly washing I began to apply it with the supplied small round sponge. It is completely clear, slightly thick but pourable as not not run of the sponge. I sparingly applied it. Before my eyes I could see the perfect non glossy results I wanted. Very clean and fresh looking without that shiny gloss you often see delears and detailers apply to tires for example. It quickly blended away the auto polish smears and I actually did all of the trim in a few minutes. I did the inside door foot well side kick plate areas. You can readily see if you miss an area. Simply go back wipe it on. If you apply it too heavy you will easily see the excess. Blend it away or wipe it down with a soft cloth. I went over all of my trim shortly after with a soft cloths and had no residual feel of a product. Could not have been more pleased with the results. Even my wife who is a car clean and shine perfectionist said “Wow”. I am impressed.

This plastic and trim restorer was given to me as a gift a couple years ago. I just ran out 2 months ago and just had to buy more. The bottle last that long because this stuff applied to a plastic surface last a long long time. I use this product to apply to the plastic trim on the hood of my Polaris Slingshot and through the rain, sun and constant rewashing it stays on!!! The trim I that I apply this on keeps a constant shine even when the rest of the vehicle is dirty.

Used this product twice now on my 2012 Honda CR-V. The car's, exterior plastic and rubber parts are fading in varying degrees. I'd say moderate fading over all. Trinova seemed to work pretty well and I'm happy with the immediate results. It darkened and brightened the black trim and bumper parts pretty well. I had no problems with it running off onto the paint as I read in a few other comments here. I applied it with the applicator, massaged it in a little, let it set and then buffed it with a microfiber cloth. You don't need to lather it on liberally. A little seems to work just fine. I wash my car by hand every week or every other week at this time of year and the trim stayed dark for at least two washings. My one serious complaint is that this stuff is messy. When wet, it's a very greasy gel and the it kind of oozes from the bottle and runs down onto your hand. It was all over me and it's not a pleasant feel. I'm going to try wearing rubber gloves next time and see how that is. My experience so far is that it works pretty well and I would recommend it, but I will probably try some other restorers to see which lasts long, is easier to work with,etc. I would have no problem coming back to trinova if other products don't stand up.

I wish I would have taken a before-photo. All of our exterior black plastic on our Jeep was light gray from fading. I started yesterday at 6 PM and by 8:30 PM, I had a new Jeep. This is far better than any other product I have tried. No streaking and great coverage. I did every piece of black plastic, including handles and latches and only used half a bottle. By the way, our Jeep is 17 years old which now looks like new. I will write a follow up in a month to let you know about durability. 3 MONTH FOLLOW UP: I am happy to say there has been no fading. A little of the sheen is gone but there is no fade to gray. This product is a definite buy if you have an older Jeep. 👍

Fantastic!! Goes on easy with immediate results. I did all trim on three vehicles, dodge durango, dodge dakota and honda element. I regret not taking more before and afterbut once you start and see the beautiful results you just don't want to stop. I used their yellow sponge I use those sponges on a regular basis so i had extra. On three vehicles i used 2 pads. I put a SMALL amount on the pad and spread it out as much as i can before putting more. You are tempted to just put more to hurry it up. Try to refrain from doing that you don't need much. After spreading it out i used a microfiber towel to rub it in and get rid of any access. From past experience i have found its better that way. I had less than 48 hrs before the weather was going to get colder in the 50's and rainy. Sure enough that's what happened. I was glad to see no major streaking from the door handles. The front bumper where its plastic there were just 2 very light streaks. If u weren't looking for them you wouldn't have seen them. I just used my fleece jacket i was wearing and rubbed it in with one go around and it was fine. My dakotas back bumper has metal. Platic and rubber. The metal was so bad and nothing i tried would clean it or shine it. As i was doing the top rubber part i dripped some of it onto the metal. I wiped it quickly because the product didn't mention metal but it wouldn't come of not one bit and it looked good so i did the metal too. No problems. My car looks great. Its been raining off and on for 4 days and all of it on all three vehicles look great!! Love trinova. I use their paint sealant too! By this trim protector you wont regret it!

Does the job very well. The applicator is useful. Have applied one month back and it’s still the same. Really makes all the parts look new and the car new. Doesn’t come off even though car is washed daily. One more coat should make it last for very long. Great product.

Used on my second hand tractor, was very faded from being in the sun for years, this stuff is amazing , my tractor guards look practically new
