Stays on throught the night
Doctor prescribed this for me. I have kind of gangly arms, so did not find it easy to put on, or stay on as instructed. I found it much easier to secure the velcro where I guess it might fit me, then slide it onto my arm. If I want to loosen or tighten from there, its much easier. Have not had any issues with it coming off in the night. Does not cause friction or discomfort on the arm for me. Very comfortable. Definately recommend.

Plastic insert design has issues - I found a cure for some of it
Due to the fact the plastic insert is completely flat, there is no bend in the elbow. I had a very difficult time trying to sleep with my arms fully extended and completely straight. Also, the lack of a bend made it very easy for the splint to slide right down the arm. Most nights, if I wasn't removing the splint just so I could be comfortable enough to sleep, I'd wake up to find the splint was around my wrist instead of my elbow. Either way, I'd wake up with one elbow bent and numbness in my hand. If I made the splint any tighter, it would be too tight on the arm for circulation. The cure that solved this problem for me: A heat gun. While holding the plastic insert with pliers, I heated the center of the insert just enough to allow it to bend at the center, and I carefully bend the insert about 20 degrees (if one half of the insert is flat on a table, the other half comes up from the table at a 20 degree angle). This shallow angle provides just enough elbow bend to prevent the splint from sliding down the arm while sleeping, and it also makes the splint much more comfortable to wear. The first night after doing this modification was the first time I woke up with both splints on my arms, and no numbness. The other issue I have with the plastic insert is that it's too narrow, and it can cause discomfort at the two ends, where it can dig into the wrist and the bicep. This could be improved if they had a wider insert that was molded to fit the curve of the arm, instead of the "flat stick" that it is. Overall, it's a decent product, but I spent weeks trying to learn to wear it at night with no luck, so it was doing me no good until I altered the insert. Hope this review and modification idea is helpful to the other users who reported similar problems.

It Works and Here Is A Fix For the Plastic Insert If It Snaps.
I have used this Elbow Support for about 7 years before the plastic insert snapped. I occasionally get ulnar nerve issues due to resting my elbow on my computer desk. After wearing this elbow support for a month, my ulnar issue goes away.I did figure out a fix when that plastic inserts snaps. All you have to do is:1. Cut the stitching where the insert goes in the cloth channel. Remove the plastic pieces.2. Get a wooden painters mix stick from Lowes, Home Depot, paint store etc. They are about 2 inches longer than the plastic insert. Cut the excess off the wood stick.3. Tape the broken plastic insert pieces together and reinsert in the cloth channel. You can use duct tape or electrical tape. Now also insert the wood painters stick in there as well. They both will fit into the channel.4. Tape the cut opening you made with a piece of tape to prevent the inserts from slipping out.Voila, you now have a fixed elbow support!

It works!
I was starting to develop cubital tunnel syndrome in my left elbow and this was recommended to me by my physical therapist. Since I began to wear it at night, the tingling and numbness in my left arm and hand have subsided, so it seems to be doing the trick. It doesn't hold your elbow in a rigid position – you still have considerable range of motion – but it prevents you from tucking your elbow in tightly while you sleep. During the day, I've taken to wearing it on my right elbow, which was broken in a biking accident last summer, and it's helping me keep that arm extended straight as part of my physical therapy, so I'm getting double duty out of it. I am a small-boned guy and it's a little large for me (and would be for most women).

Compressed Ulnar Nerve while sleeping.
I use this while sleeping to help keep my arm straight. I have a compressed ulnar nerve and this helps. I'm an "active" sleeper with 16+ inch arms so it doesn't stay put. Its hard to velcro on tight without help, and its never stayed in position all night, but all in all, its not perfect, but its pretty good. I have noticed a big difference since I started using it.**update** the plastic splint snapped in two while I was sleeping. I contacted the seller who put me in contact with the manufacturer. The manufacturer's rep was VERY helpful. They sent me a replacement splint at no cost to me! The replacement arrived less than 4 days after I contacted the seller! This may be the best service resolution I've ever had. I will definitely use them again.

Works
I got two as I have ulnar nerve problems in both arms. They do their job in keeping my arms straight, and they seem to have helped my nerves improve quite a bit in just a few weeks. Now the cons: They are very cheap, but, keep in mind you're not paying much for them either. One thing they could do to improve them is instead of leaving the slot open where the plastic piece inserts, there should be some velcro, as I woke up many a night to the plastic piece sticking halfway out on both arms. Also, the plastic is very straight and brittle and I ended up snapping one in half in my sleep. The plastic can be shaped, but you have to heat it in order to do that. I just put it over my stove and bent it a little so my arms weren't fully extended all night. In all, it's a good idea, but there are a few flaws that could easily be resolved.

Good for sleeping but a little too flexible for daytime use
I was hoping to use this for a couple months before ulnar nerve surgery, but it was too flexible so i had to get a stiffer product for daytime use. However, it was definitely the better product for using to sleep. I was worried it would keep me up at night, but it didn't at all. Comfortable and unobtrusive. It was best during the first week or so and then it did seem to get stretched out over time. Still overall it was worth the price.

Don't last long, plastic splint keeps protruding
Thin material but comfortable, consistent with 'made in China'. The plastic splint easily protrudes from one end - presumably so that one can remove it and wash the material. I wear it at night and worn over my pyjamas it stays in position 2/3 nights. At night, with the splint at the side it limits flexion to about 90 degrees. So IMAK okay but I bought "Cubital Tunnel Syndrome Elbow Splint" £17.99 for my other arm. this is made in UK, much more substantial cloth but the metal splint bar protrudes at times as with the IMAK..... 7/08/17 Both splints lasted for less than 4 months. I sowed the ends up so the splints stayed put. The IMAK splint broke, and the other one, the sowing at the edge of the splint came undone. I found that I could get a good fit if I tightened the velcro and then put it on like a sleeve.

Useless
This is awful. Wore it for one night it slipped down my arm repeatedly and twisted around so that the splint was useless and didn't prevent me from bending my arm too much.It only has one splint in it and it is completely straight, so doesn't keep your elbow at the optimum angle to deal with cubital tunnel syndrome.I will be returning it.

Really helped me with my RSI at night, as ...
Really helped me with my RSI at night, as i am a nightmare of having my arms raised in my sleep, rather than straight, and although as others have suggested this does move/can come off, it does last long enough to have affect. So for me definitely well worth the spend!

Disappointing Elbow Support.
Too big and bulky for my small elbow; my husband tried it on as well, and it was too big and bulky for his medium size elbow. The only good point was that it is latex free. Very disappointing, especially as I have discovered that it is not eligible for return, but no explanation of why this is, is stated. What am I expected to do with it? I cannot afford not to have the refund.

Comfort assured
Such lovely comfort. I'm so pleased with these elbow supports. There's a sleeve for your arm to slip in ti, then you just fit the velcro straps. These are so easy to wear. I certainly made the right choice, this time!
