IRON OUTAutomatic Toilet Bowl Cleaner Tablets, 18 Tablets(pack of 3)

This was purchased to clean the inside of the tank of my toilet. The toilet dates from 1956, and likely had never been cleaned. The tank was stained to the water line with a very dark rust color.Following the package instructions, I raised the water level in the tank above the stain, then added the Iron-Out. After letting it sit overnight, I used a soft brush to agitate the stain. I then flushed the toilet again. The stain was very nearly gone.Because of the age of the stain, I went through the process a second time. After the water in the tank was flushed and refilled, the porcelain was completely white and stain-free. The 66-year old rust stain was completely gone.

I LOVE this product. I always have these in my toilets. I live in an unincorporated area with very hard water. We have filtration systems, iron out system, and a water softener but I would still get an iron ring on my toilet. When we moved in it took me about a year of searching to find this product. Now I am part of the homeowners association and I put it in a welcome bag for everyone in the neighborhood. Everyone I give it to loves the product. I have never noticed a scent from my toilet. I can tell when it is gone because the hard water ring appears very quickly but once I put a new one in - it is gone. I always have these in the cabinet.

We had a toilet severely rust stained. Scrubbing, even with pumice stone had little effect. After using the Iron Out tablets, the toilet is clean. It took it a few weeks to fully restore, but now it looks good.

If you have hard water use the iron out powder and spray save your money on these tablets they just don’t cut it. I use iron out on a regular basis and it works really well but the tablets don’t even compare to the power. I was hoping to cut down on my iron out usage and maybe save a little money and not have to clean my toilet so much but they just don’t do it.

Don’t buy. After putting in my towel tank a black mold like scum covered the walls of the tank and would flushing bowl a little at a time. And they don’t last as long as described. We ended up having to put bleach in the tank and bowl and scrub with a brush to get it clean.

This is a great value for the amount of product that you receive. Iron Out works super well to keep the toilet bowl and tank clean! I use these throughout the house and it really keeps the iron from staining! Try the spray bottles as well- they work great!

Works great at helping keep the rust out and bowl clean. Smells fine. Easy to just drop into the tank. After a month, check how much gone. Depends on number of flushes and time. Refresh as necessary.

Our water is extremely "rusty" We end up putting one of these in around every 7 - 10 days, depending on use. Really helps keep the rust down.
