Easy to use, fast and accurate!
I had a heart attacked in October 2021 and have had low blood pressure 80 over 40 ish since that time. The main reason my pressure is low is due to taking blood pressure meds. I needed an accurate blood pressure machine that could reliable read my pressure. My doctors wanted to reduce my meds, but if my pressure were to spike it could kill me. I needed something reliable that I could use every day. I have purchased 3 other machines from Amazon. None of them are accurate. They could easily be 10 or more points high or low on Systolic. I needed something that would read consistently and be within 1 or 2 points off max. Last visit at the Doctors office I noticed they were using one of these machines. I figure if it is good enough for them to measure their patients that could be misdiagnosed if their blood pressure readings were off, it was good enough for me. This machine is a bit overkill for a home, but it is a wonderful product that is very accurate. The pressure cups are a bit difficult to put on by myself, but I figured out that I could pre-wrap the cup and slide it onto my arm. The trick is to get the cup wrapped tight enough that one finger will fit between it and your bicep after being slid onto the arm. It can't be too tight or loose or the machine will not read the pressure correctly. When I found the right spot, I put a mark on the cup so I can pre set it exactly where I need it every time. Makes the machine super fast to use and I can do it without any assistance. I have been using this machine every day since I bought it. I usually run the machine on the average setting where it will take 2 or 3 measurements with a rest in-between measurements. Every measurement is very close to each other. Running several measurements in a row and doing the same on another arm is a good way to verify that the readings are consistent. My measurements are typically 1-3 points of each other on Systolic and usually identical on Diastolic. Another point to note is this machine can also be calibrated if you have an old mercury blood pressure system with the manual pump to use. There are directions on how to do it in the manual. Overall I am very pleased with this purchase. If you have the money and want a blood pressure machine you can count on, this is the one to get.

Great Unit
This process of this purchase increased my blood pressure! Evaluating the # of options that you have with BP monitors is crazy! There are a lot of lower cost options but for each of those you will find plenty of reviews complaining of inaccurate-inconsistent readings. When you consider that these options are hundreds of dollars of difference in cost it makes the decision even tougher. In my case, even my primary indicated not to spend a bunch of money on these monitors made the decision even tougher. Based on the reviews for this unit and comments made in those reviews where they are finding the same unit in their doctor’s office and the lack of negative reviews was enough for me to pull the trigger. I have been using this unit for over a month and love the features and results of this unit. The results are consistent with readings at the doctor’s office. There are options to take a single reading or take an average of multiple readings controlled with a switch on the front of the unit. The display is easy to read and the cuff works great. One item to note is that as indicated in other reviews is that if you remove the Velcro each time this is a 2 person task. If you leave the Velcro in place and slide the cuff on and off your arm this turns into a 1 person task - and works great. Even though this was a tough decision before pulling the tigger on this transaction - after using the unit this seems like a no-brainer!

Hospital grade unit.
Excellent quality unit. As close to hospital grade as you can get. It gives consistent readings as compared to lesser priced units I’ve had which is extremely important to my family’s health condition. I purchased mine during prime day’s sale and saved over 300 dollars. If you’re looking for quality and willing to pay the price this is the unit you have been looking for.

Talking blood pressure monitor
The blood pressure monitor works good. However when I bought it I didn’t realize that it talks and there is no option to disable the sound. I would prefer it without the sound.

My Doctor Does Not Question This Blood Pressure Monitor!
After purchasing a couple of other Omron BP machines, I found the results inconsistent, and my doctors would also question the results as well. Many times the units would not record BP at all because the cuff was not on right according to the machine, although everything looked OK to me…so I finally purchased the Model: HEM-907XL. It works every time, it’s accurate, and my doctor approves. I’m here to buy another for a family member… TIP 🌞 If you have difficulty applying the cuff by yourself, here’s a method that works and is simple. Apply the cuff, either by yourself or with someone assisting you. When you go to remove it, don’t undo the Velcro…just slip it off by pulling the cuff towards your wrist and leave it fastened. The next time you have to take a reading, just slip it back up your arm again to a firm position and you’re good to go. If you gain or lose weight on your arm, make another adjustment.

Expensive but hospital grade machine
Amazingly accurate and made in Japan machine so expected it at that price point. Two things that can make it more worthwhile for home use - some sort of a simple cart and night glow function.

Grave Disappointment Complete Fail.
Failed during measurement on Day 1. Cords plugged in. AC registers properly. Now fails shortly after start of inflation completely after just a few days. RETURNED FOR REFUND. At this price this is unconscionable. Negatives No cover No case No blacklighting. Any item with a display that plugs directly into a wall AC outlet ought to have a LIT SCREEN. Not that dark grey on grey dull display. Cuffs wrap from behind your bicep making fastening a real pain Screwdriver needed to get battery cover on/off. Always annoying. Results vary widely on that cyff's placement so it's critical to get it right but hard to be certain what RIGHT is. I need the XL but I'm on the max edge of L. Using the L Sys and Diastolic are 10 points higher than using the XL very snug. The XL less snug then registers 10 points lower still. So depending on those fittings my Diastolic is 69- 72, 79 tor 88. Useless results. Cuff is also too long armpit to crease of elbow. They're assuming if you are rotund then you are tall too. XL is 8.5 inches top to bottom. So you don't search for an hour, the connection hose is in the bag with the Medium. Packing it separately with a simple label, they couldn't do that. I wanted the Welch 3400 SureBP but there are long ship times and I see complaints about it too and stores can't take it back because Welch policy forbids returns after its opened. How are you supposed to know its working if you don't open it?

Good quality
I purchased this to start with for my private practice. BPs are accurate to what I get manually and what patients that check their own BPs also get. HR is also accurate for what I with a pulse ox on the opposite hand. I like the variety in modes and the different size cuffs that come with it. I would say that I wish the numbers were a little more clear when trying to auscultate for a manual BP reading because I realized that there is not a dial to watch lines and numbers like a regular sphygmomanometer.
