Love this journal
This is such a great journal. The prompts are great and give me ideas on what to say about my child, but aren’t too hard to answer. I love that there’s extra space so that I can add other thoughts that the prompts don’t cover. I’ve had this journal for over a year now (bought it while pregnant and my baby is now 13 months!) and I still love it. I will say, it can be a bit time consuming for that first year of life since there’s a section for every month, but I love it. It probably took me 1-2 hours each month to fill it out, but I do like to write a lot. Just saying, if you’re looking for a super quick and easy baby book, this probably isn’t the one for you. I’m so excited to have this book grow with my child. I can definitely handle 1-2 hours per year to journal for them. I wish I journaled more but I just don’t , so this is fantastic for catching those summaries. I just bought a second one for my baby on the way.

High quality baby book
I LOVE these books to document from pregnancy through 18 years old! They are high quality and I like that they have a bookmark built in so I can keep track of my place. They are a little spendy, but worth it over the course of 18 years. The design is simple but modern and I put it right on my bookshelf.

High Quality memory book for all of childhood
This book is high quality and feels like it will last my child’s childhood years and many more to come. The cover is a nice solid linen and there is plenty of room on the pages to follow the prints plus write your own pages as well (I added an “in the news today” section to the blank pages on the birth chapter for example). I have one for both kids and cannot wait to look back on it once it’s complete when they’re adults.

Keeps remembering simple
This is a great option for a keepsake book. It has questions about my baby each month that I will want to remember as well as plenty of space for special moments/thoughts to write in. There is also a page for pictures, I use my Polaroid. Thus book is pretty, simple and I like that it’s hard covered. I’ve purchased it 3 times, I would definitely recommend.

The Best Baby Book/Journal
I absolutely LOVE this journal! I purchased this for my first child's baby book and I re-purchased it recently for my second. I love how you fill it out while pregnant, every month for the first year, and then every year through 18 years old. It has so many questions and details I will be so happy to look back on in the future. It's compact and looks very nice on the shelf as well. This is the perfect baby shower gift or for anyone you know who is expecting or looking to get pregnant.

Buy this when you’re pregnant!!
I almost never write reviews, but feel compelled to do so now. I am currently 19 weeks pregnant with our first child, and have long known that I would want to keep some sort of record - a combination of writing and photos - of this pregnancy and of our child’s life. (And for our future children, too). This journal is beautiful and elegant and perfectly suited for just that. I have kept personal journals for close to 20 years, so I really appreciate that this journal includes lots of space for writing, and yet somehow also encourages being concise enough that our child may actually want to read this one day, possibly unlike my volumes upon volumes of personal journals. I love the family tree section. And each section (including each trimester of pregnancy, the section for the birth, each month of the first year, and a separate section for each year after that) includes space on one page to add a few photos, pages to add examples of your child’s artwork, etc. If you’re looking to use this as a photo album, you’ll want to look elsewhere. But if you want to capture memories and sweet details you’re likely to forget later, with a few most memorable photos at each age and stage, then this journal is perfect for you. I’d also recommend using an archival ink pen (available at any craft store), as my own experience keeping journals has shown that the ink of even what seemed to be high quality pens bled out yellow and faded as years passed. Buy this journal!

Great memory book!
I have bought 3 of these so far and I love them! Pros: - Goes to 18 rather than age 5 or only the first year. - Has several prompts for each stage (pregnancy; 1st, 2nd, 3rd trimester, birth, first weeks, months 1-11, and ages 1-18) - Has space for photos and notes - Several color options - has a family tree Cons: - Expensive - Some of the prompts don’t apply (at least to our family) and are a bit repetitive. I saw another reviewer said that they replaced these ones with their own which is a great idea. - Not A LOT of space for photos. With my first and second I printed all the photos I wanted to put in their books but it was way more than would fit. I used some of the journaling space for photos and other mementos but, if you want your book to close nicely, a photo album would be best. - Personal preference: the family tree only goes back to great-grandparents. My kids actually had a great-great grandfather for the first couple years of their lives so it was disappointing to have to squeeze him in the margins. There is extra space for siblings or other family but not official places, which I would also like to have as we have a large family. Overall I recommend this book for all my mom friends, and anyone who wants to record more than just the first year or first few years of their child(ren)’s life. As with anything it has features that you’ll love and ones you won’t, but it’s a wonderful keepsake for parents and children.

The journal is great but unfortunately received it damaged! Too bad as it’s not acceptable to gift it like that!

Every parent needs one of these for each of their children. It's so lovely to have everything in one place, the writing prompts are great, I love all of the space they give to write out extra memories and paste in pictures.
