I’ve purchased these multiple times. Both the unicorn and the mermaid. My daughter had SO much fun decorating this and growing the garden. We’ve bought several more as gifts!

This is a great entertaining activity for kids with their mums. It’s small and not messy and other than kids having the chance to decorate their garden they also will learn responsibility as they would have to take care of their plant for it to thrive .

I bought this as a gift for my daughter and it turned into a really nice activity for us to do together. She loved the mermaid theme right away, and it kept her engaged without feeling frustrating or too complicated. The size of the terrarium is just right for kids, small enough to fit on a shelf or desk but still big enough for them to feel proud of what they created. The growth area is limited, which makes it manageable and easy to care for, especially for younger kids who are just learning how to take care of plants. Everything came packaged neatly, the instructions were easy to follow with a little adult help, and the whole project felt calm and creative rather than rushed. She loved watching the plants grow and checking on them each day. Overall, it was a thoughtful gift that combined creativity, quality time, and something she could continue to enjoy afterward.

The kids enjoyed the decorative stickers and multi-coloured sands, and the chia sprouted by the next day. A bit messy (put down a mat or something when constructing the "garden"!) but overall a decent purchase.

Very pretty terrarium starter kit for kids.. is fun! Only bad thing is the pearl sticker adhesive is not sticky, start to drop off after sticking.
