I love every moment using it really really exceeded my expectations

I previously owned the Quest 2 and a HP Reverb 2 headsets so I can compare the quest 3 to those. Because I already owned those headsets I was on the fence about spending money on the Quest 3 but I wish I bought it sooner, its a massive upgrade, much better than expected. First the screens, I thought the screens on my HP Reverb 2 were great, definitely way better in colors and clarity than the Quest 2. So I was expecting the Quest 3 to be similar to the HP Reverb 2, a nice upgrade to my portable vr sessions. However, what I didn't expect was the Quest 3 to blow my mind on how good of screens they have. The pancake lenses really are gorgious. Everything looks way clearer and natural. Its so good that it instantly ruined both my older headsets, they just look like a blurry mess now. Second is the PC VR experience, I got the HP Reverb 2 because I could never get the Quest 2 to run good on pc vr, it look alright wired, but wireless was hopeless. When I got the Quest 3 I was just going to use it for portable vr and keep the HP Reverb 2 for pc. But I tried the wireless connection with the Quest 3 just to see how it would do, and again my mind was blown. Not only was there no noticable drop in image quality, I didn't notice any latency either. I was able to stream games like Microsoft Flight Simulator from my pc while sitting on my couch, something I cant do with my HP Reverb 2 (cord isn't long enough). The Quest 3 essentially combines the best parts of both my old vr headsets and not only matches them, but beats them. Third, I didn't really expect much from the passthrough. Sure it's in color now but I rarely used the passthrough on my quest 2 so expected I wouldn't use it here either. But the pass through of the Quest 3 is really good. It's not seemless, you can still easily tell your looking through camera's, but its good enough that if I need to check a quick message on my phone, I can actually use my phone with the headset on. So nice to do small quick tasks without having to remove my headset. Overall the Quest 3 is a huge improvement over the Quest 2 and last generation of Desktop headsets. And its price is reasonable, even after the price jump. If you're using an older headset and want something that's an upgrade but not too expensive, the Quest 3 is it.

I upgraded from my Quest 2 to this and oh my what an upgrade. Whilst it doesn't have better "graphics" the image is much clearer and crisper, and it has better performance than most headsets. Pancake lenses are different than the 2's lenses so it took me a couple of hours to fully adjust (5 years of adjustment to the quest 2's lenses vs 1 hour of adjusting to the 3's) People say the 3 is heavier but I disagree. I feel like it's less bulky, yes, but the 3 is much lighter than the 2. And the touch plus controllers are just chefs kiss. I always hated the quest 2 rings and not having them feels so freeing, and I also don't really encounter tracking issues with them either. And as for the colour passthrough, it's trippy at first, but really cool. It's fun to play games in AR around my house. Worth it? Definitely, plus you get 512GB of storage, that's like 3 times what the 2 had. I have about 3 storage heavy games downloaded that my quest 2 couldn't handle, but the 3 just takes it like a champ. All in all good headset, great buy, from me it gets a 4.5/5 because the default headstrap is still garbage, but you can always buy a custom one (which you should). Iamcool out. 😎

Aparelho excelente, com ótimo custo-benefício. A qualidade é impecável, a entrega foi rápida e veio muito bem embalado. O único ponto é que a bateria descarrega um pouco rápido, mas isso pode ser facilmente resolvido, basta usar um cabo VR ou investir em um strap com bateria extra. Assim, dá até para alternar entre várias baterias, garantindo uso contínuo sem preocupações.
