## Description

The Mushroom Trellis is a versatile trellis for vines and climbers, giving a vertical interest to your plantings. Use it as a centerpiece for your vegetable bed, adding strings for peas or pole beans, or create an umbrella of cucumber vines, lifting them up to more light and air circulation. Grow mandevilla vine or climbing nasturtium to form a blossoming "tree'' in a large container. Easy to dismantle for off-season storage and available in two sizes.

Review: Great shape, easy to assemble- long lasting - I am so tired of putting up arched trellises, successfully establish my planting only to watch the arch eventually sway forward and back, and finally start to collapse as the legs degrade. And then you fight to cut off your planting without loosing it altogether. I had been to a garden where many of these shapes were used in a circle and immediately responded to it. The plant grows up the center and eventually cascades up and over the ring. The shape lets light into the center of the trellis which gives a more even growth. I decided to give it a try at home, but it took a while before I found this on desertcart. The form comes in pieces that are easily assembled, but a second pair of hands is helpful at a couple of points. It is very stable and it is easy to sit the whole trellis on a ring of bricks, to keep the base off the ground and make it less likely to rust. I bought the trellis last spring (2013) and planted Passion flower that is still establishing itself. But it has started cascading and I love the look. So I just bought another for a fragrant wisteria, it just went in this weekend, I'll revisit this review in the future and let you know how they age. If you are looking for a new trellis, I would highly recommend this lovely shape.

Con: There are no instructions, however the vertical portion is very easy to assemble. It comes in two pieces with the top piece fitting nicely on tabs extending up from the top of the bottom portion. It is another story completely for the nine pieces that comprise the "mushroom" portion of the trellis. Four pieces fit into each other to make the top circle. The tricky part is getting the five pieces placed that suspend the circle above the frame. I have read reviews that suggest glueing these in place. That may be the answer. I managed to add them one at a time, but it wasn't easy. A helper would have come in handy. Now that is is assembled and my Lobata is happily climbing it, I may need another!

I am so tired of putting up arched trellises, successfully establish my planting only to watch the arch eventually sway forward and back, and finally start to collapse as the legs degrade. And then you fight to cut off your planting without loosing it altogether. I had been to a garden where many of these shapes were used in a circle and immediately responded to it. The plant grows up the center and eventually cascades up and over the ring. The shape lets light into the center of the trellis which gives a more even growth. I decided to give it a try at home, but it took a while before I found this on Amazon. The form comes in pieces that are easily assembled, but a second pair of hands is helpful at a couple of points. It is very stable and it is easy to sit the whole trellis on a ring of bricks, to keep the base off the ground and make it less likely to rust. I bought the trellis last spring (2013) and planted Passion flower that is still establishing itself. But it has started cascading and I love the look. So I just bought another for a fragrant wisteria, it just went in this weekend, I'll revisit this review in the future and let you know how they age. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Unique trellis look

Very study once assembled. A little unwieldy getting mushroom top on, but a couple of minutes help from a tall friend and it was done. I did take the time to bury the base about 8 inches and anchor with hooks provided to assure stability. Star jasmine vine started up the trellis and cannot wait until it drapes over the top.
