Best Vacuum Ever!!
How do I give this thing 10 stars?? Seriously. This vacuum is a gift from heaven! We have struggled with long-hair dogs, long-hair cats, a chinchilla that throws her bedding and food outside her cage daily, terrible builder-grade quality carpet that mats really easily, making it difficult to get things properly vacuumed and cleaned. We have purchased expensive Dyson vacuums specifically for pets, expensive Shark vacuums specifically for pets, and an expensive Kirby, which honestly has been the best vacuum so far. Until this cheap Bissell. Not cheap quality... PHENOMENAL quality for a cheap price. Don't bother spending $500 on a junky Dyson. This Bissell is a miracle worker. We were literally about to rip out our carpeting in the upstairs hallway because it was so matted with pet hair that just wouldn't come out. We were going to just epoxy the plywood underneath because it would look better than the ratty carpet. But I thought I'd hunt one more time for a vacuum on Amazon. I read reviews raving about this vacuum that led me to buy it. And we are thrilled with this thing! My husband and I can't stop vacuuming. And we watch each other vacuum so we can see this miracle in action. We had vacuumed our bedroom with the Kirby. Two days later, we vacuumed our bedroom with this Bissell. Filled up the canister before we even finished the room!! This pulled up years of embedded dirt, hair, whatever grossness every other vacuum failed to pick up. It left those beautiful vacuum lines in the carpeting for the first time in years! It actually picked up the carpet pile that was totally matted down. We emptied the canister and moved on. We finished the bedroom, then vacuumed that matted hair in the hallway, which this baby picked up with ease. Hubby and I gasped in wonderment. Then, we emptied the canister again and moved on. We vacuumed the bonus room, where the chinchilla makes her mess. It picked up all of her hay and bedding with ease! The only con that I saw about this vacuum that affected me was the length of the hose for the attachments. True, the hose is short. But the vacuum is lightweight enough to carry it step by step to be able to vacuum the stairs. And it still reaches the full couch seats. That was another miracle! Our dogs like to sneak onto the couch when no one's looking, so both long-hair clumps and short-hair bristles get embedded into the couch cushions. With a few swipes with the attachment, 2/3 of the couch filled up half the canister of dog hair!! And the attachment actually has it's own functioning roller with bristles, like a little mini vacuum!! It's not just stationary attachment at the end of a hose... it's a mini vacuuum!! I am telling you... this is the best vacuum ever. I never would have imagined an inexpensive Bissell would outshine every "big name" superpower vacuum. But it does. Leaps and bounds better.

GREAT
This is a great Vacuum especially if you have a pet, and carpet. I am amazed at how well it works. Great suction, light weight and easy to use. picks up everything on any type of flooring. The attachments are very helpful too.

Best vacuum I've used so far
Works incredibly well. I used to use a shopvac type vacuum for all the dog hair in my home but that got too difficult to work with. I've used other sub $200 vacuums and they were all worthless. This one, surprisingly for the price, is the best vacuum I've used for pet hair. I have vinyl floors and a sofa with dogs that shed A LOT. This vacuum is super powerful and you can actually watch the hair get sucked in from several inches away. Cleaning is very easy and takes about 10 seconds. The tools actually work well although I would recommend a separate pet hair scraper for couches to make using the pet attachment work better. All in all, cleaning the entire floors takes less than an hour now and all the hair actually gets picked up. I recommend this vacuum to anyone with indoor pets.

Bissell : 2252L
My old Shark vacuum a great machine, that I actually loved, but one of the biggest problems with it: it would pick up items, but a lot of things were “blown around“. my house is majority hardwood floor, tile, vinyl plank, etc. and I have pets so I use vacuuming to get a majority of the fur, dirt from the paws, litter granules, etc., but this Shark upright was blowing things around too much. It took twice as long to properly vacuum & that is when I decided to look into a different brand and model I love this BISSELL vacuum cleaner. It’s definitely lightweight, in the beginning it felt very plastic and cheap in comparison, but I gave it a fair chance. I love the swivel capabilities, I like how I’m able to get underneath certain pieces of furniture, it handles corners and edges beautifully, I like that I am able to adjust the different suction levels, and it easily and quickly picks up all of the things that the Shark was blowing around. Don’t get me wrong, the Shark upright had phenomenal suction as well, but for some odd reason, the fan for that particular machine was blowing around the lightweight items i.e. fur balls/lint/litter granules, making it much harder to accurately pick everything up quickly. This one has less issue with that. I also like the extension pieces that this vacuum cleaner provides. It does get a little bit tangled up because of the cords and the hoses and such. And I wish I could detach the canister from the main body for a more streamlined cleaning, but the quality of the cleaning I get makes up for these little” flaws”. I tried a model that was one level underneath this Bissell and it was returned rather quickly. This model is good and affordable. It’s very good if you have pets and/or you are in a small apartment that is majority tile/vinyl floor planks/hardwood floors/etc. The extension pieces I received, especially the “turbo eraser” pet brush is great! And the triangle shaped “corner” piece is another one of my favorites as well. I love the small brush. I use that on top of shelves/around books/around my TV area/etc. I love the angled long hose extension piece. It gets into corners underneath furniture that I am not able to easily move by hand. All in all, this vacuum was a great deal and in spite of me initially feeling like it was “cheap and plastic-y” feeling , I’m glad I gave it a chance. And it really lives up to the hype. Especially in a home with pets.

Great value! Strong suction and very easy to use.
Great vacuum if you have pets! We have large dogs and went through two other vacuums from a competitor that struggled to keep suction and were much heavier and unwieldy. The Bissell 2252 is fairly lightweight by comparison but has a much wider suction and roller head which cuts down on vacuuming time. The see through cannister makes it very easy to tell when its time to empty and it is very simple to remove, empty, and replace on the main unit. Would highly recommend it if you have pets or just a very active home and need to keep your carpets and rugs clean!

I think you should get it.
We moved in our new house with no vacuum cleaner and have been using the Dreame robot this whole year that we’ve been year, and we have 3 dogs, and 3 cats. Needless to say the $1,000+ robot just isnt that good. I wanted a vacuum. A real one. This is on the cheaper side which I like. I thought the reviews were pretty good and after a few comparisons with other vacuums I went with this one because of the suction strength which to me is very important for pet hair. I just got done vacuuming for approximately 2 hours. Heres my take! I started in the kitchen on hardwood floors, and it did pretty good. Theres also a thin carpet in there, and when I went over it the vacuum tried to suck the carpet up. There isnt a lower suction setting than the one meant for bare floors, so I had to keep moving the carpet to get certain areas without it grabbing the rug. It does great picking up clumps of dog hair but there were a few pet hairs left behind. I’m not upset about that because pet hair is extremely hard to fully remove. For this price point I wasnt expecting perfection I just wanted a vacuum that actually cleans our home and it does that. The vacuum head swivels but it has a larger, boxy head, so it doesnt fit well into tight spaces. It does turn, but it can’t fully get into smaller places simply because the head itself isn’t very small. The weight is medium for me (I don’t lift weights, so take that for what it’s worth). Changing the filter is very easy, and emptying the dust basket is also quick and simple. The suction on the hose itself feels a little light, but that’s been my experience with most vacuums, so I wasn’t shocked by that. Overall, for the price, I think it’s worth it. It definitely sucks things up very well, and after relying on a robot vacuum that couldn’t keep up with our pets, this feels like a solid, practical purchase.

Excellent vacuum
I was surprised by how powerful the suction in on this vacuum! I like the hide extension as well. I replaced a Dyson with this and I’m blown away with how well it does on my carpets and floors. And the price point is very affordable. It also maneuvers very well with the swivel head and gets well under my bed.

It sucks
My wife and I had a shark vacuum but it had a hole in the suction tube. So it was losing suction and not picking up dirt very well. It was time to replace it. I bought this Bissell because the reviews were good and it seemed decently priced. Plus we own a dog so there's pet hair and cotton and strings from stuffed toys. I used it for the first time today. We both seem to like it. Her only issue was she thinks it's too heavy but says it cleans well. My only issue is the cord. I have to switch to different outlets to reach. I didn't have to do that with the shark vacuum. As far as what it's made to do it gets the job done. I feel like it has deep clean suction power. It picked up the cotton from the stuffed toys easily. Works good on both laminate floors and carpet. Assembly was fairly easy. We had a little trouble figuring out where the attachments went but she figured it out. She's smarter than me. And that's all I gotta say about that. Hope this review helps in making a purchase choice.

Dangerous - DO NOT BUY!
We received this product and I was very happy with how easy it was to put together however, I then tested the vacuum on a low pile rug and within 20 seconds the motor blew and flames appeared from the vacuum, burning and melting the plastic. I have been offered a refund as I believe it is a faulty motor however, the cost of posting the vacuum from Singapore to the USA is simply not worth it.

EXCELLENT value for money, FAR BETTER THEN DYSON (from a confirmed Dyson user x 15 yrs)
I just purchased this and it arrived last night. I put it together within 5-10 min and tried it out right away. I have always had DYSON PET-version vacuums for the past 15 years, so this was the first time I tried something much less expensive and non-Dyson. LOVE IT. The suction is way better than Dyson, even brand new out of the box. It is very lightweight and easy to maneuver, and I far prefer how the hose attachments stow and how easily they are put on the hose when needed. It’s very easy to empty the canister, and when emptying the debris falls out much more easily than it every did on my Dysons. Also, the powerhead seamlessly goes from hard floors to low-pile mats and even my Great Dane’s dog beds without having to change the setting (I kept it on 2 the whole time). And, the powerhead does a far better job of getting the edges clean than my Dyson did. The only downfall is that the cord length is about 10’ shorter than my Dyson, so I have to re-plug it in as I go through the house (the Dyson reached everywhere in my raised bungalow without unplugging it). That’s a minor inconvenience, easily fixed with an extension cord if I so choose, and not enough to lose any stars over. Obviously, longevity is an unknown. But, for the far more economical price I paid for this compared to any EXPENSIVE Dyson I’ve bought in the past, replacing it every few years if needed is no big deal.

Me encanta
Es la aspiradora ideal si tienes mascotas. Recoge super bien el pelo de mis perritos; facil de usar, cable muy largo para conectar, es algo ruidosa pero nada del otro mundo. La recomiendo mucho

Light and easy
As an owner of a long haired cat and fully carpeted stairs and bedrooms this vacuum actually gets rid of hair and dirt and deep cleans carpets and hardwood floors. I’m not too fond of the pet turbo eraser attachment because everytime I used it on fabric it would just stop the belt immediately, the other attachments are neat I never tried them though. PROS: I love how easy it is to put together and as someone with OCD the lines it makes in the carpet is so satisfying and seeing all the dirt and noise when you pick up the dirt: SKSKKKK it’s awesome. Easy to clean the filters Instructions to clean belt and assembly Easy to put together Easy to push and transport across areas Multiple attachments CONS: I find the vacuum gets really hot after using for 20 mins or so The pet turbo eraser doesn’t seem to do much, other than damage fabrics and the belt immediately stops after suction Cord isn’t too long for rooms Pricey but it’s worth it in my opinion. It’s hard to hold and navigate stairs. I wish you could pull off the suction container and hose and take that with you so you don’t have to take the whole vacuum just do suck up each individual stair.
