Valuable Content but presentation is poor
Nagasamy shows the parallels between thirukkural and Dharmasashtras. Even ideas between Sashtras and Thirukkural closely matches so much that any possibility of coincidence is ruled out. There was a free flow of exchanges between tamil and sanskrit and Thirukkural shows high reverence to Vedas and Brahmins. But one problem is that the book contains lots of grammatical errors that makes it unreadable. Its disheartening to see that such valuable research is presented in such a sloppy way. With all due respect to the Author Dr. Nagasamy, he should have subjected the preprint to multiple levels of proof reading before publishing. Once these errors are corrected, this book will be a gamechanger in the current discourse about religions and their history in Tamil Nadu.

Must read to understand Indian civilization
It's a very good book with exceptional insights. The author provided substantial evidence for his hypothesis as described in the title of the book. The connection observed between or among various schools of thoughts clearly depicts the possibility of thiruvalluvar's attempt on abridgement. In a well civilized state, we can see or observe similar social attitudes or behaviors to develop a better system or atmosphere to sustain as well as progress existing growth. Hence, several authors made efforts at distant time point to provide a guidelines which is suitable for their own race, creed. Even nowadays, we too try to inculcate or bridge the best thoughts of Eastern and Western philosophies and cultures. Hence, we cannot rule out thiruvalluvar's noble attempts. I would like to read another book which provided contrary evidences for the thoughts expressed in this work. Then, it will be easier to conclude

Thirukurral is vedic understanding in Tamil language
Adbhut. This book tells us a lot of connections between sanskrit and tamil. It does not give details, but gives you an inspiration where you carry out your own research about myths that Tamil is a isolated culture. Missionaries have tried their best to isolate tamil nadu from Bharat, but I must say if you read book, you will discover for yourself that the whole sangam literature and thirukuraal, arattupal , kamattupal are all inspired by vedic literature, but language being Tamil.I invite all Tamil people to verify yourself, how fake narrative is being taught to you in your school. Let's together debunk this myth and create one ideal bharat.Dharm, artha, kama, mokshaaram, poral, kamam, mokshabramhin, kshatriya, vaishya, shudraantanan, arsanan, vanikana, velanan

Slap on the face of breaking India forces.
When I first saw the negative reviews I thought that this book is bad. But after buying this book and reading it I realise this book is a gem of an effort made by Dr nagaswamy to bring out the connections between Tamil culture and Hinduism. This book is a must read for all Tamil people who believe that Tamil culture is different from Vedic culture. The violent separatist movements in Tamil Nadu was created due to this false idea that Tamil culture is distinct from Indian Hindu culture this has created terrorist organisations to be active in politics of Tamil Nadu but they are actually supported by western intelligence agencies to break India into smaller countries and thus create a civil war kind of situation.

Shatters Prejudices and Ignorance
This book is going to shock prejudiced people in Tamizhagam. The author is a qualified archaeologist and historian who dedicated his life for protecting and bringing out Tamizhaga history. In this work, he has brought out the framework in which ThirukuraL is written. He provides irrefutable evidences to support that ThirukkuraL represents the Indic thought and not something completely alien. Philistines will be very hurt by this work because their ignorance is in danger.

Worth a Read
There is a concentrated effort in Tamil Nadu, to alienate the Hindu Religion itself, from Tamil Culture. This effort is primarily funded by outsiders(who are alien to the culture) and one of their effort is to dis credit any relationship to Tamil Culture portrayed in Thirukkural and the Hindu tradition. This book addresses that part and well worth a read to know how the culture and religion are inseparable.
