Fits and works as specified

Exact fit and perfect replacement for my 16 Gal. ShopVac. The price point was the deciding factor, considering the cost at the BigBox store. I can buy three to one and they are just like brand name.

The filter cartridge fit well and flowed air well. My old one was not waterproof and it fell apart when I tried to rinse it. The foam sleeves don't fit over the cartridge, they are made to cover the inside of the Vacuum's internals. When you use it to pick up water you are supposed to take the cartridge off and the foam filter prevents debris from damaging the internals.

Very good filters

Great replacement for my 12 Gallon 5.5 hp Shop Vac. If you combine this filter with a bag, you have great protection against dust getting into the electric motor but more importantly you don't have a bunch of fine dust getting sprayed around the room, where it can be inhaled. This filter also protects against bag breakage or a leak at the inlet. Highly recommended.

Product was as advertised and used for an old shopvac that just needed a filter replacement. It was inexpensive and delivered on time. It was also cheaper for me to replace the filter rather than buying an entirely new shopvac. If you're clueless as to how to go about selecting shopvac filter replacements look at the make and model of the shopvac and there should be a serial number. You can take a photo of the number and Google or Amazon photo icons will take you to where you need to go. And give you the right selection of products.
