A: Sure, the wrapping looks pretty good. It's decent for home use, but nothing to heavy duty.

**Q: Is this meat cleaver dishwasher safe?**
A: You can put it in your dishwasher, but I would not recommend putting any knives you like in the dishwasher. It will greatly dull the blade. Additionally this knife is not full-tang which means that the water could get inside the handle, and rust it out shortening the life of this knife further. In short, yes but no.

This knife arrives amazingly sharp, right out of the box. It has solid weight, a nice thick spine, and a firm handle, making it your go-to knife for just about any cutting, slicing or chopping task in your kitchen. This knife is a workhorse, and when finished, is easy to clean. It'll cut through an entire roast effortlessly, or through a rack of beef ribs. I was skeptical that a knife at this price-point would compare to the "famous cutlery brands" - but this champ is right there with the best of them. Skip the fancy, expensive name-brand knives, and try this instead. You'll save a ton of money, and get a great, everyday knife that should last you for years.
