Attractive, pleasant to use dinnerware
I love the color and crinkly glaze. The mugs are a generous size and feel good in my hand. The handles provide ample finger room for holding. The bowls are nice and wide and low. Great for soup, salad, cereal, or pasta. The plates are a good width. The weight is good, but not lightweight. Not excessively heavy either. I haven’t managed to chip or crack anything yet with regular use. Count me very happy with them.

Really nice
I'm the only non-vine review, so take that for what its worth. I was looking for some dinnerware in a grey shade and came across these. In real life, these do have some blue tint to them in some spots, but that doesn't take away from the overall greyness. They are heavy and appear to be durable. I love the white/eggshell color on these. The cups are perfectly sized for what I want. The white is such a muted color and it's just nice. The crackle to the glaze is wonderful. I am very happy with these.

Trash after 1.5yrs
Spent $120 per set, bought 2 sets 1.5yrs ago. They looked pretty nice and was happy with them for a while. They held up fine for the first year. A few peices chipped (though we are generally pretty careful) but that isn't very surprising. I am frustrated with the design flaw mentioned/evidenced in other review photos - the glaze cracks absorb stains on some of the peices, and now some of the glaze cracks are now raised and flakey. Completely unusable and i have to assume they are a risk for trapped bacteria. We take good care of our dishes and use them per instruction. This was a waste of a lot of money - for that cost i would expect to get a couple more years' use from them. Dollar store ceramic is holding up better! I do not see any warranty info so i did email to inquire if these are covered under any warranty, given the design flaw. I would be happy with a credit to replace these with another Mikasa product (without this glaze).

Breaks Incredibly Easily
The design is beautiful and the set is visually appealing. We purchased two sets prior to the holidays. One salad plate arrived badly chipped, and we thought nothing of it. On its first use, a mug cracked and leaked after having hot water poured in for tea. It wasn’t coming from the fridge or the cold … just cracked. A second mug cracked days later, same circumstance. Finally, a drinking glass fell on a bowl as we were doing dishes. Clearly our fault, we dropped a glass on the bowl. The glass has not a scratch on it … bowl had a crack straight through.I’m thinking this set is just poorly or cheaply made.

Really nice set, but handle with care
This set has a really attractive color and finish, with a fine crackle textured glaze. I love the sizes of the vessels. The bowls are wide and big, and the cups are not little coffee cups--they are large-sized mugs. Very good for your "nice" set of dishware. Unfortunately, my 7 year old daughter dropped her bowl on the first night we tried them and it broke. So definitely be careful with these, they are somewhat fragile.
