Review: Awesome Frother - I'm going to start out with the only flaw that I've found with the frother in the 2 weeks that I have been using it. The Min and Max lines are extremely hard to read unless you have a light shining directly on them. Even in my bright kitchen I can see it until I go to pour in milk and then of course the milk carton casts a shadow over the line and they practically disappear. I'm still giving it 5 stars though since it doesn't impact the performance of the frother because once the milk gets close to the line it starts to become visible again. So if you pour slowly you will never overfill. Now on to the important part. This is an awesome little machine. I have been using for 2 weeks straight now since I first purchased it. First, I tried out using the whisk to see how well it would produce foam and I was pleasantly surprised. It produced the perfect amount of foam for a cappuccino. The frother also had no problem producing this foam with regular cows milk and with the HEB (local grocery store) Unsweetened Vanilla Almond Milk. I have also tried Silk Almond Milk with the frother but it didn't as well with that brand in making foam for a cappuccino. I have since then switched over to using the stirrer part of the frother as I prefer latte's over cappuccinos and I don't need all the foam. This part works exceptionally well with all brands and types of milk, even chocolate milk and chocolate almond milk. It takes about 3 minutes for it to heat the milk and it produces the perfect amount of foam on top for a great latte. When using the chocolate milk it doesn't create foam at all which is perfect for a mocha. I have also tried the cold stirring for iced coffee. It does this just as well as it does the hot. On to cleaning. I wish I could give it more than 5 stars on the ease of cleaning alone! It is very simple to clean out. The almond milk I use does clean a tiny bit easier than regular cows milk, but even that is still easy. After frothing or stirring, I simply run water into the frother and then wipe it out with a paper towel. It's that easy. I've never once had to scrub or exert any amount of force to get it clean. In my usage, I have found that it's a lot easier to clean out the frother after cold stirring or frothing, which is nice. One thing I haven't tried yet is using the whisk with heavy whipping to make whipped cream as I read that it could in another review. I will update the review once I've had a chance to try that, but even if it doesn't work that well it still wouldn't detract from my 5 stars. Bottom line: If you're looking for a milk frother, this is one the one you need. No frills and thrills, but it does exactly what it's supposed to do, and it does it exceptionally well. UPDATE: After using this frother for 6 months now it continues to be a workhorse in my kitchen. The only other appliance that gets more use than this is my espresso maker itself. Even after 6 months, my only complaint is still how dark the fill lines are. I have even left milk in the frother overnight by accident that dried. Filling it up with water and letting it sit for about 10 minutes allowed me to simply wipe it out with a paper towel. Overall, still one of the best purchases I have made on desertcart.
Review: It's great, so far and a year later - We've only had this frother/steamer a short time. We've used it about 6 times to froth. It can use between 4-8 tablespoons. I put the milk in (fat-free milk works as well as 2 percent), and push the button then prepare a very strong expresso-type coffee in the Bunn MyCafe. When the coffee is finished, so is the froth. It produces a very dense foam-clearly, more than half of the milk has been quickly (and quietly) heated and frothed. The two-year warranty gives us peace of mind, but the frother appears to be very high quality-heavy and solid. It is easy to use, and it works. I couldn't be happier at this point. EDIT: Over a year now and still doing well. As I've read questions about non-dairy milks, I thought I'd add a pic and some info. The photo is of a 1/4 cup Almond Breeze Unsweetened Vanilla from refrigerator section. I think you can see the "liquid" in the bottom of the glass. Then there is about 1/2 in of light foam--not really froth, topped by over 2 in of full froth. The peak temp. of the milk was 168 F. Frankly, I'm amazed. I wanted this to happen to coconut milk (as I had seen demo'd on a YT video--prof steamer/frother), but no such luck with three types (Silk 45 cal. unsweetened refrig.; Silk 80 cal sweetened refrig; and, So Delicious 45 cal unsweetened shelf--the one from the video). Neither of the foamy portions of the Almond milk has subsided during this edit. I hadn't added espresso since I'd already tried one earlier with coconut milk (gotta be frugal with those Nespresso pods--the ones I prefer). Of course, Almond milk is not going to the "creamy" froth of reg milk. It is a great sub low carb AND low calorie. If I really have to have the creamy, I use half and half. Full whipping type cream hasn't worked for me. EDIT, again: Somewhere in the back of my head, I realized a property found in soy and cow's milk not generally found in commercial non-dairy milks is protein. While fat gives milk the creamy feel, it also interacts with the protein which seems necessary for a real foam. The coconut milks I tried had 0 protein while the almond milk had 1 g/cup. The Silk organic unsweetened (refrig) soy milk in my fridge has 7g/1 cup. I don't like the soy milk so wouldn't use it in my espresso. This does help to explain why soy seems to be a consistent winner for non-dairy frothing.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Perfection!
*by U***A on December 16, 2014*

This milk frother makes perfect foam. We use almond or coconut milk in it and you would never know our foam is not from a cow. It is easy to clean and has a slightly taller, thinner silhouette than its competitors if you are shy on counter top space. We had always steamed our own coffee froth with our espresso machine until we received another frother as a wedding present. We found using an electric milk frother easier to use when making multiple coffee's but also great for making Chai or hot Chocolate. Unfortunately, our first product was a Nespresso. The product worked well but it has annoying switch out parts in the lid and the inside of the container that easily fall off when cleaning. (We had to order new ones twice as I suspect ours wound up down the drain). The Kuissential Milk Frother rotator is much better designed in that there only the one piece inside. The Nespresso was quite difficult to clean (loose parts) and keep the electronics dry (which ultimately lead to its demise). The Kuissential again is designed to protect its electricals much better. When our Nespresso died (after less than two years), we consciously chose to buy another brand and did our research. Nespresso is owned by Nestle, one of the most ethically bankrupt corporations in America. Because of their practices of buying up all the global water markets (70 so far including Perrier, San Pellegrino, and Vittel) and their use of child slave labor in Africa (harvesting chocolate beans) we choose NOT to patronize any Nestle products if possible. Kuissential is not only a better product it is a 3 year young company that specializes in coffee equipment. They originally spelled their name with a "C", which I preferred personally. They have excellent customer service reviews so we decided to give them a chance with their product. We are happy we did.
