I do a lot of portrait photography and it’s been great for creating great soft light. The variable temp on the light have been great to create the warm tones i am looking for. The second reason this is a great light is for recording video, i have been using it to record video and this has given me great soft light as well as been able to become extremely bright light multiple subjects in my videos. The last purpose was for make application, and amazing selfies! It came with a stand and a mount for my phone in the center of the ring, which gives a great angle and holds my phone while I pose for the selfie. I would recommend this product, I feel like it was a great product, since it included a remote to adjust the lights color tempature and brightness, as well as turn the light on and off. This is great for when I was recording video. The color balance and brightness settings are broad enough to cover just about any situation. It would be amazing to see this light in a cordless model but it's actually surprisingly portable, as long as you have a plug in available. The overall value of this purchase is incredible though. I would definitely recommend it if you're looking to get a ring light. The Tripod is not the typical, bare-minimum type you'd expect, it is far more rugged and quite compact when collapsed, I know I'll be using it a ton on my weddings to come. The last thing I should mention is the carrying case. They spared no expense here as well. The case is heavy duty and over sized enough to carry additional gear, another super useful bonus for this already good deal.
