Looks very sturdy. The bumper protects the surface of the door or gate but also makes the padlock nicer to grip on cold days. It needs lubricating out of the box otherwise there is a resistance when turning the key. Not an issue for me since any padlock used outdoors needs occasional lubrication. Shame though that you cannot choose the bumper colour - you get a random one.

Been searching for keyed alike locks but they were all really pricy. Then found these. They look really good and open and close really easily. Just what I needed to get in and out easy of the double locked area

A good solid lock. I added a bit of WD40 just to make the key a little less stiff in it. The lock now works like a charm.

This looks like a good rugged combination lock and could deter opportunitists in a monitored or trafficked location. It is however only a 4 number lock. If the attacker has 10 minutes they'll get it open via the combination. The wheels for the combination are very finicky about being in line as the detents are not great, and the lever to open the lock is also grindy and rough. The best feature really is that it *looks* hard to break open.

This lock is a sturdy design and I've got a larger version on my gate which has stood up to nasty weather well. It is let down by one terrible issue. Bear in mind this is rated as medium-heavy security. In my mind this should mean it has a basic level of defence against simple attacks. So the fact you can pick it with a straight bit of metal jiggled around randomly in the keyway is a bit of a problem. The bitting on this key is beyond terrible for pick resistance. If you're putting that on something rated for light security (like a desk lock) that's fine. But this is rated for much higher security applications. This is so bad, it is going with my Masterlocks to teach drunk beginners how to pick. You need zero skill to "pick" this and any basic pick set will do... Or just a pen lid clip jiggled around in the keyway. This is the second Sterling lock of late that has really fallen down on quality. I have had four. Two are excellent but the two more recent ones have had terrible cores in them. One even got returned as it wasn't even fit for use as a doorstop. Manufacturers with good names need to stop churning out tat like this. Sterling used to be a brand I'd trust for a cheap but very good eurocylinder. After buying two utterly substandard and over rated locks from them, I won't be recommending them ever again.

Good protection. Depending on the position it can be a pain to reach behind when moving the dials. Not always the easiest to move them with only access to the front. The tab to open it can be broken as well. Had one snap when someone tried to force it.

..wer sich eine Nagelschere sparen möchte, sollte sich dieses Schloss zulegen. Sobald man es geschafft hat, die Zahlenräder in die richtige Position zu drehen, welches nicht's für Kinder und Frauen mit langen Fingernägeln ist, kann die Entrigelung nur direkt am Rundbolzen vorgenommen werden. Der Hebel an der Seite ist dafür völlig ungeeignet und benötigit einen enorme Kraft wegen der geringen Größe. Das Schloss ist eine wirkliche Quälerrei, habe es sofort zurück geschickt.

Hago esta descripción a desgana. No quiero decir que sea malo, pero yo busqué un candado robusto y este es ridículo, al menos el que me vino a mí tenía la carcasa mal soldada. Me arrepiento, pero ya digo, es una simple opinión.

C'est un très gros cadenas, très solide. Je l'avais acheté pour le casier de mon fils, mais il est beaucoup trop gros (on ne s'en rend pas compte sur le site). De plus, le s enfants ont eu du mal à le manipuler. Donc, il est inadapté pour cet usage. Par contre, il a trouvé toute sa place sur l’abri de jardin.
