Review: great tasting flour - Great gf flour. Makes great muffins. has a light sweet taste. The texture is nice and smooth. It has great mixability with other flours and really is a nice flour. It is expensive. But as with all gf flours and items its comparable. I have bought this several times. Its AIP compliant and great for those of us with autoimmune issues.

**Q: Can this be put straight in smoothies or should it be baked?**
A: I have not put it into smoothies myself, but it does not need to be baked. I primarily use it to make tiger nut butter... which is amazing!! Seriously, you should make it today. 1 cup tiger nut flour, 1/2 cup + 2 Tblsp. coconut oil, 1-3 tsp maple syrup or honey, blend till smooth. You could also add a dash of vanilla or cinnamon. Try not to finish it all in one day... :)

**Q: So what's under the bag?**
A: I also showed my 7 year old daughters after I discovered what’s under the bag. No spoiler here, find out yourself.Lol!

**Q: So, what is made of?  What tubers is made of?**
A: Made out of a tiger nut. Nothing else added.

**Q: Can you make Spanish Horchata out of this?**
A: No, you cannot accurately make Spanish horchata de chufa (tiger nut) with this. I tried.  It's got a bad, weird taste that way, and it is probably not our vendor's fault, but the result of being pre-ground.

Anthony's Tiger Nut Flour has helped me out on my Low Histamine food plan. It's perfect in an Apple Crisp dish as well as muffins. I use it in combination with other gluten free flours that are low histamine friendly. It smells great and when baked up has a sweet taste to it. Tiger Nut Flour is in a dry powder form.
