This is a good Relaxer. Better than Motions with Oil. I found I didn't receive as many burns with this product.

Since my usual relaxer isn't on the market any longer I really really needed to find another compatible or comparable relaxer like the bantu super I've used in the past. The older I've gotten the more resistant by hair has become although it's incredibly soft.. I figured since bantu was part of the soft sheen carson family that they couldn't be far off. I wanted t start with regular strength just to be on the safe side.I was very impressed. My hair is very silky and smooth like it used to be 20 years ago (I've relaxed my own hair for almost 40 years now). So I've got a new relaxer and I'll stick to the regular strength which I'm sure is much better for my hair. I'm very happy.

My mother uses this and has for YEARS! I wish the price would come down to the normal price like out the bss. But nobody else has this brand. The price is ridiculous tho, ns

Just a reminder, The image states that it is a " REGULAR STRENGTH" relaxer. However, I received a "SUPER" strength relaxer, and because I needed it desperately to relax my edges. I used it and I can honestly I give it 5 stars, but I had to leave it on for only 12 minutes instead of 18 minutes as recommended for my hair texture. This is the best relaxer ever of life. My hair is natural and very coarse (4C). My hair feels like satin. I would recommend it and purchase it again. Quick question if anyone knows the answer. How long of a shelf life does a relaxer have?
