These are a bit expensive but they're so handy to have around and are very frequently used. Previously, there've frequently been times I'd end up causing damage to something I was fixing because I only had metal pliers. I finally got sick of mangling things so I ordered these. Not only am I using them for the things I originally bought them for, but they frequently get used for applications I hadn't previously thought of. For example, the other day I used them for putting on some spring hose clamps and they worked so much better than metal jawed pliers because the nylon grips the tabs of the clamps instead of always slipping off. Take the plunge and buy these; you won't regret it.
