Brilliant design for very large people
Wow I just finished putting (most) of my camping gear in this, and I had to come write a review. This is just perfect, which in my world generally means no pain, problems, or setbacks. Everything went smoothly, and the finished "product" is a gem!I am 6 foot, 310 pounds, and not muscle. I couldnt believe it when - fully loaded - I easily slipped it on, adjusted it all in one take, and no issues! Even the waist belt didnt give me any issues, which is astounding.I will get to the pockets in a second, but I am still stressing how there was no discomfort on a large overweight man - and again, first try! No hours of adjustments or needing a second persons assistance. Most impressive are the front main straps. They have just enough thickness to spread the weight so you dont feel any pressure even with it fully loaded, but they stop at just the right spot to avoid digging into the softer armpit area which I was concerned about. I give this pack my highest recommendation for not just quality, but their engineering that distributes the weight in a way so you hardly feel it, and nothing digs in or hurts. And it fits! The pocket design is also brilliant, but Id really need a second review for it - just take my word it all makes as much sense as the effort put into their weight distribution and construction expertise. This product was designed by people who know their woodcraft but also excel at usage, durability, and comfort. Built like a brick, feels like a comfy shoe!

Do it
Spent a lot of time looking at different option but happy with this one. It holds a lot and is still comfortable to carry. The material seems good quality.

Wouldn't pack it too full, but...
I bought this to have a pack for lightweight, minimalist backpacking kit. Fits the bill perfectly for what I want. That said, I should point out a few details.1. The waist belt is not very well padded. This does not bother me because I use this pack with a greatkilt, so I have plenty of wool cloth bunched up around my waist to act as padding. If you wear modern clothing while hiking, this pack could cause pain and blisters on your hips.2. There's zero adjustability for the distance between the anchor points for the shoulder straps and the belt. Fits me alright (I'm 5'9"). If I was taller I bet that it would be hard for me to adjust it so the weight would ride on my hips without introducing fatiguing "sway" into the equation.3. The stitching and zippers look to be good quality, though not heavy duty. that does not bother me because my minimalist kit is a little bulky, but not heavy. I wouldn't trust this pack to manage heavy or seem-splitting loads.4. The zippers that allow for expansion tend to creep open a little. This might require periodic adjustment to prevent your load from shifting. Also, there are no compression straps to secure a load that's less than full-capacity. Again, doesn't bother me, because my load is light and fills the pack well. I like the expansion feature because my winter load is about full capacity when expanded, and my summer load is about full capacity when not expanded. You could certainly wrap a few compression straps around the pack to correct this.Overall this pack meets my needs perfectly, but it's not a good choice for technical backpacking. You'll have to spend up for that. For the money, though, it's ok. For my application, it's perfect.

You should buy if you hike and camp
This bag can fit everything! I'm able to fit my cookware, clothes, 2 person tent, hammock and whatever small items I need in the side, top and front pockets. The MOLLE system is great so I can bring even more stuff for multiday excursions. This bag is perfect for hiking and camping. The price is amazing for such utility. And the quality is perfection. You can tell how sturdy the buckles are just by the sound they make(they also feel great to snap together). Also very comfortable to wear with all of the things inside. The fabric itself is thick so the bag keeps decent form with not much in it and seems like it will not tear under any normal circumstance. The tan color is very nice and outdoorsie looking. I got a custom patch ordered and I am excited to put it on the loop velcro part included on the bag. Great item indeed 10/10

Holds All the Things
It's a good value for my needs. I wanted an extra gear bag that can be modular when needed but wont see as hard of use as my main pack. This has held up for a few seasons now and I have nothing to complain about.

Well designed and large volume
I like this backpack a lot. Multiple storage areas for smaller items. Well made and sturdy. Perfect for me as a weekend camper

Best bag I have ever gotten
I bought this bag two years ago and have used it basically daily to move around heavy material. Either closed or expanded this bag is durable and steady on my back. I had a North Face bag before this and it was only 40L. It fell apart in the same timeframe with half the load and use. The closure on top keeps things secured and also protected from rain and snow. As for it being waterproof, I can't really say for sure but I have never pulled anything out that was wet after use. And I have used this bag hiking and under pretty much all weather conditions. I would strongly get this bag and will probably get another one in case they stop selling them on here.

Durable pack
This is a very nice backpack for the price. I use it for gold prospecting in the mountains. It easily Carries a 14" gold pan, a 14" classifier pan, a pickaxe and a small shovel. It also holds plenty of other small necessities. The straps are adjustable to evenly distribute the weight. The only complaint I have is the shoulder straps are a bit rough on bare skin. If you hike shirtless, I'd suggest sewing on some old tshirt into the straps for more comfort.
